How did I even get myself into this situation? I most certainly did not come to Auradon to find a mate and I don’t want to let this whole mate thing get in the way of my mission. Dealing with Lorde was way easier. He was friendly, and funny, he made me laugh and he was interested in my little talk.
I purposely skipped my duty this morning because I wanted to get the Prince mad. Everyone keeps saying how much he hates disobedience and Anna had told me a story about the way he would punish any staff that as much as skipped his coffee. She helps out in cleaning his chambers very often and she had woken me up this early to warn me but instead of taking her warnings, I decided to do otherwise.
