Rena looked at the woman helplessly. There was nothing else she can do in this situation but wait for the police to come and convince them that she was falsely accused.
A few minutes later, two cops arrived on the scene, one male and one female.
“What’s going on?” the male officer asked.
“This woman apparently stole Miss Ashby’s phone,” the manager explained.
“Who is Miss Ashby?”
“I am,” Sarah said feebly.
“And who called us?”
One of Sarah’s friends raised her hand. “I did because that girl stole my friend’s phone after she pushed her.”
