Chapter 9The Johnson ranch was magnificent, and the cattle Jesse saw all looked capable of fetching top dollar. The size of the place would make it more than easy enough for Red to get himself a job there as an itinerant cowboy. He could vanish with the drive, go do his robbing, then come back a time later.
