Chapter 6Strolling from the hotel to the saloon just down the street, Jesse made sure to focus on his reason for being in town rather than the allure of the man in the hotel behind him. Losing focus meant losing your edge, and in Jesse’s game that could be fatal. Shoving open the saloon door, Jesse sauntered in. A quick glance around the room and he knew exactly where the men most likely to cause trouble, or get word out he was in town, were seated.
