Agnes stepped back out to meet with Jude in the living room. She watched him play with his son while the boy laughed until his stomach was stiff. From where Agnes stood watching father and son kick off their bonding, she could tell how happy Jude was that he had become a dad.
‘Ahem,’ Agnes cleared her throat to announce her presence. Jude turned around with a big grin on his face while Jake reached out for his mother with as much delight as he had on while he was playing with his dad.
‘Had enough?’ Agnes asked Jude, collecting Jake from him while she returned the excitement the infant had going on, back to him.
‘Of course not, but what can I do?’ Jude replied.
‘How are you though?’ He asked Agnes, checking her out briefly in her silk-strapped blouse that flowed freely down her body,
