(Lily's POV)
I could hear their voices miles away, while they hadn't even picked up our appearance yet. How weak are the people from the balanced colony? How could Lavender think these incompetent beings could possibly help her?
I could feel her heart beat and connection becoming weaker as the seconds ticked on and I wasn't sure anyone would be able to help her, if someone didn't do something soon for her.
"You girls are the stealthiest creatures to exist," a man's voice exclaimed cheerfully. We were approaching them all, without any of them even showing an ounce of acknowledgment. "Surprising the next King of the underworld is a goal no other could achieve. Better watch your back, Stolas, they will be taking over the kingdom instead of you."
