Kira doesn’t know how they end up in front of Blake’s house. Until Blake shakes her shoulder, telling her they have arrived.
But she remembered Blake went back to his seat after a few minutes of his sudden outburst in the car.
She’s also aware that he drove faster after that without even saying anything. Her mind was in a mess in which she was not paying attention to the outside while he was driving.
“Skye.. Let’s go?”
Blake’s car has already stopped in front of the enormous house. She didn’t even notice when the gate was being opened.
“Huh? Oh! We are here already?”
She’s still in awe.
Blake is seriously looking at her.
“I will explain to you about what happened but some other time, Skye.”
“Okay.” That’s all Kira could say because she’s still not understanding everything.
She removes her seatbelt and opens the door of his car, but it’s still locked so she looks at him.
“It’s locked.”
“I know.” Blake is eyeing her. He is trying to read her.
“I thought.. Wait! Are we not going inside?” She asks him, wondering why.
“..you’re not okay yet.”
“Blake, I’m totally fine. I honestly don’t understand what happened back there, but I’m perfectly fine.”
“You’re not, but just think that what happened back there was to protect you, Skye. You don’t understand it now, but you will.” Blake’s tone sends mystery to her.
“I trust you.” Kira smiles at him. Somehow, deep in her thinks she needs to trust him.
“Great! Oh, there you are!. I see your smile again.” Blake’s lively voice has her mood swings to normal.
“Tss.. yeah! whatever!” She rolls her eyes at him. He chuckles and then unlocks his car. She also can’t help herself but smiling at him.
They’re being welcomed by his two female servants when they walked inside the house. The house is so gigantic. A mansion to be called. It is being surrounded by gold color and Kira was so amazed.
“Master, we have prepared food for you and lady Marquise. My apology, your lady friend I meant.”
Kira was wondering why they called her as lady Marquise. But then she just disregarded it. She also found it weird seeing the two women bowing their heads as they spoke to him.
“Bring the food in the library.” He told them in an authoritative voice.
“Yes, Master.” They bowed while retreating.
“Hey! What’s with you?” Kira couldn’t stop herself from asking him.
“Huh?” Blake suddenly got confused. They’re heading towards the stairs.
“They called you Master. Are you a noble, king or a president?”
Blake snorts. “What are you implying?”
“..well it’s because they called you master.. they even bowed at you.”
Blake laughs at her, yet becomes serious a second later. “No. I am not. That's how I was being raised, Skye. All of them should bow their heads and call me master.”
Upon hearing it, Kira realizes something. There’s more about him she has still no idea about.
“Should I call you master, too?” She asks as she stops walking. They’re at the carpeted stair now.
“Hell, no! What’s wrong with you?” Blake's brows instantly get knitted.
“Because I’m also here to help you. You are paying me for my tutorial service. Does it have any difference to your servants?
No answer from Blake, but he lifted her up in the air and carried on his shoulder that made her yelp.
"Blake!"
“You’re not allowed to call me Master, Skye. I’m paying you because you don’t want me to give you money freely. doing nothing in return.” He says as he continues ascending towards the library floor.

“Is there any update with the investigation?” Caspian asked his Beta, Kent, which haplens to be his best friend as well. Kent is the second in command of Caspian's pack.
“The investigation is still ongoing Caspian. We can’t find anyone that has connection with the attack.” Kent responded while they were doing their rounds to the borders.
Caspian wanted to do the rounds for tonight, hoping to see something out of ordinary.
“Have you asked them if they remembered anything?”
“They actually have the same story. It’s about an orb. A huge orb to be specific. They said they heard rustles near them and when they approached the area, the orb appeared. It caught them off guard because it appeared just out of nowhere. The orb was sparkling brightly and sometimes the light turned blue. One of them tried to touch it, but his hand burned. Each spark was like a lightning. They shifted into werewolves to fight, but they got froze. It was like their wolves were submitting to the orb. Their wolves were in a daze. When the orb had gotten closer to both of them, they felt like burning and they thought they died already, but they came back to life and saw a woman holding them and that’s all they remembered.”
“An orb? and a woman?”
“Yes. They had the same story. They also couldn’t remember what happened after that until one of our Lead Scouts saw them and the rest was history.”
“How about the woman they were talking about? Have you found her?”
“No. We also have no lead about her. We tried to ask how she looked like but they could not tell.”
Caspian was in deep thought. He’s trying to connect the woman to the woman that the Moon Goddess was telling him.
A few days later, Caspian spoke to the Elders about the danger that would come forth and the vision that the Moon Goddess showed to him.
There’s also a report from their Deltas that the same scenario happened to the other werewolf packs.
Deltas are the third in command next to Beta. They also serve as the messenger.
The Moonlight Pack, Starlight Pack and the Crescent Moon Pack were doing thorough investigations. The attack was first happened to the Moonlight Pack. Then on the next night was to the Starlight Pack, and on the third was to the Crescent Moon Pack. All happened at the same time in each of their packs.
“Good morning Alpha, your brother has just arrived.” Patricia, their chef, told him as soon as she saw him. She’s already their cook since he was young.
Caspian nodded and continued walking to the dining area.
“Hey brother. Long time no see.” Cody’s lively voice greeted him. Cody is the youngest of the three siblings and currently in high school. He’s studying far away from this place because he wanted to live his life among human.
They have a sister but is currently in Europe with her parents. His parents will be back next month. They are helping his youngest sister with the pageant she’s joining in. Their parents are the former Alpha and Luna.
“Cody, what made you come here?”
Caspian asked while sitting on the chair. Then the omegas were quickly serving him his breakfast.
“I need your help. I need money.” Cody responded.
“Was the money that we sent to you not enough?” Caspian’s brows knitted.
“I need funds for school. We’ll be having camping event for two days and two nights in Rhode Island.”
“Is that necessary for you to attend?”
“Yes! I haven’t been to Rhode Island before. All because you prohibited me. But I need to go for my grades and my friends will join too. I will protect them if danger comes.”
“Cody, they are humans. Don’t blend too much with them. If they find out what you truly are. Then our kinds will be in danger, too!”
“They’re different, Caspian. They even believe that werewolves exist. We studied about our werekinds although some of their speculations about us were not true but they meant no harm.”
“...you couldn’t tell that unless they see in their eyes that we’re real. Cody... hunters are roaming nowadays. They can tell if you are human or not. Also, attacks were happening already not just with our pack but to other packs as well.”
“What do you mean, attacks?”
“There are reports. It’s not just our pack being attacked. But two members of our pack got injured and until noe we still don’t have any clue about the assailant. I don’t want you to go anywhere without telling me while you’re here.”
“Was that an orb by any chance?” He then asked Caspian after a few seconds in deep thought.
Caspian was shocked upon hearing Cody’s question. His brother did not know about the situation. He prohibited anyone from informing him for security reasons.
“How do you know about that?” Caspian stopped eating as he intently looked at Cody.
“I had a dream that the pack might be in danger. There’s an Orb appeared in my dream, too.”
“You dreamed about it? When?”
Their conversation waa interrupted when Kent walked in with his mate, Cierra, holding hands. “Good morning, Caspian. Wait, Cody?! Did you arrive last night?”
“Oh, Hi, Kent and Cierra, good morning. Nope. I just arrived an hour ago. Well, isn’t too early for that? Hmm?” Cody was teasing them as he pointed his forefinger towards Kent's and Cierra's intertwined hands.
“Good morning.” Caspian greeted them as well.
“You don’t know how it feels to have a mate, buddy. I better find one If I were you.” Kent responded to Cody without thinking about Caspian.
So Cody couldn't help but laughed. Meanwhile Caspian was just quietly drinking his fresh orange juice.
“Are you talking about me? Or my brother?” Cody was already grinning from ear to ear.
Cierra right then started giggling while watching them, but she stopped when she also realized about Caspian.
A loud growl made them to instantly stop. A grown that they all feared to hear from Caspian.
“Oops! Sorry, dude. That’s not what I meant.” Kent’s guilty face was very clear.
Kent, Cierra, Loracia, Vladimir are Caspian’s childhood friends whom could put up with him. Not because he’s an alpha, but because they know him.
“Cody, tell me more about your dream.” Caspian then changed back the topic while deep in his heart he’s frustrated because he still couldn't find his Luna.
