Bella’s pov
I ran to him. My mind was filled with nothing but thoughts of him. The urge to wrap myself up in his arms was so overwhelming. He picked me up and I giggled gleefully. It was a side to me that I never knew existed. I had always been adamant that I would not feel this way about anyone. It still felt strange because Adam was my mate but I couldn’t deny the strong attraction between me and this stranger. He was beautiful. I couldn’t stop staring into his eyes. His gaze was locked on mine. I was oblivious to anything and everyone around us. It was like being in my own world with just him.
He kissed my neck where my mark should be. I suddenly remembered that Adam had not marked me which meant I was still an unmated she wolf.
