Chapter 6 Concordia and David were sitting out on the front porch of their Crosswinds cabin shortly before tea-time when Sir Anthony and the remaining guests arrived. At the moment, David was softly dozing in the rattan rocker, a rough block of wood in his lap and a scattering of wood shavings at his feet. Concordia smiled to herself as she sifted through the bowl of shells she’d gathered for her nieces. He’d wasted no time borrowing the materials he needed to start on his “project,” which she assumed would be a duck decoy to join the ones he’d purchased.
