That first day they met, Devon hung around after the crowd had dispersed and watched Harry put away his card tricks and top hat. It collapsed in on itself, and the tabletop opened to expose a hollow inside like a suitcase. The spindly legs folded neatly into it. Once Harry was all packed away, he turned and gave Devon a charming smile. “You seem to be leaning on my sign.” Devon pushed away from the wooden sandwich board.
