I laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling and listing to Dan's soft snores. I'd showered before bed, so I couldn't even do that to take my mind off the situation. Was I afraid of how we were going to get out of this disaster? Absolutely. I was terrified of what this mountain would throw at us next. But what was really on my mind was Chance Belgarde.
