"The name says, Alexandra. That means the note was written by her. But why does she sound so in trouble while writing this? Did something happen at that time? What could have been so wrong with a lady like her? Like, Of course, I don't know her but she looks like the one with no problem at all..." I stop my ranting when suddenly my head starts hurting. I grab the edge of the box I am standing inside. My head has started pounding suddenly and my legs have started shaking. The pounding increases and I can't even scream because someone could hear me. Unlike to take the pain, and balance my weight on my wobbly legs, I sit down.
What is all that happening suddenly?
Slowly my whole body starts shaking and heating up. My hands are trembling and not just my hands but my whole self. I feel my vision blur and my body sweating. I don't understand what is happening to me. My breath starts coming as heavy pants. I put my head down and hold my aching head. The piece of the paper touches my forehead making an electrifying jolly penetrate my head and I go numb. My head falls backward and as my vision gets blurry I see my surroundings changing. By the time my eyes completely shuts, I see the dust chandelier turning into a beautiful chandelier. The once dusty chandelier that had spider webs covering it is now shining so bright that it can even lighten a blind man's vision.
I close my eyes and the throbbing in my head and the heat coursing through my whole body starts soothing down. I wait for the pain to completely leave my limbs and feel the wonderful feeling of my aching limbs being stretched. Slowly as the pain leaves my body, I open my eyelids covering my view.
Opening my eyes, I find darkness everywhere around me. I look around me and feel suffocated in a small space. It is very dark!
Oh God! For how long have I been passed out in this box!? Did someone close the lid? But who would? And why wouldn't they wake me up first? So... Where the f**k am I!?
I slowly fold my legs and the box seems empty. It feels empty.
I guess they took everything and left me here to die!
Oh shut up, Lex!
I come up on my elbows and get up when suddenly the lighting changes from dark to bright. I duck my head quickly in case somebody notices me here. But... But... What the f**k did I just went through the lid of the box!? It has two latches!
My heart starts beating frantically as I again slowly lift my head up and it doesn't touch anything but rather comes into a massive room. I look down to see what happened suddenly to cause this but what I see is my head above the lid of the box while my rest of the body is under the lid!
I couldn't help but scream but didn't stop anything and nothing changed. I gather some courage and put my head down which easily, oh so smoothly goes THROUGH the lid and I am welcomed by the darkness once again. Confused and shocked by this peculiar happening, I straighten up my head again and notice my surroundings. This box, it's the same as the one that I climbed into. But the room is well decorated and beautiful like anything! The table, the couches, the chandelier, the lamps, and every single thing is as expensive as my existence!
Firstly I don't understand how am I able to pass through things? Am I in some other world? Did I... did I die? Is it all a dream? Am I hallucinating things? Or have I come in the past?
I move my hand to grab the edge of the box but my hands pass through it. Hesitantly, I take a step ahead and get out of the box. The baffled me looks around and finds a huge bed as I saw in Alexandra's room. Is this the same room? Am I really time-traveling? But how? And why me?
I move closer to the bed and my eyes widen as I see the same beautiful lady from the portrait. I move closer to her, through the net curtains around the bed, and sit beside the bed. I watch her closely. It is like watching myself... I don't know why but I feel I have already experienced this all. Like I'm seeing it in a flashback mood.
Suddenly Alexandra's eyes open and I flinch back as it felt she was looking at me. But she smiles and turns around. She traces her hand on the other side of the bed and smiles dreamily. I watch her with intent, taking in her every facial structure. She gets up after a while and gets off the bed. I'm no more confused on how all this is possible but more shocked on why does this feel so familiar?
I watch her going through me and turn around to catch up with her every step. She puts on a silk robe before preparing a bath for herself.
"Today is such a lovely day! Such a fruitful day!" She says sinking in the pool of water decorated with rose petals in it. A few minutes and a few maids walk in with one or the other thing in their hand.
"Oh, Princess! How do you feel about today?" An excited maid asks Alexandra.
"Very lucky. Very fortunate. I've been waiting for the day for so many days. Finally... finally, today the day has come. And as I'm excited, I'm nervous too. I'm nervous if I'd be able to maintain the faith the people have already shown me?" Alexandra says.
"Of course, Princess. You are such a kind-hearted woman! Our majesty is really lucky to have you in his life. And now soon, he'll be your husband." The maid giggles and I love the freedom of speech they have here.
The bath... I suppose is going to continue for a long time. So, I slip off the bathroom and go outside to find the very empty hallways all packed with men. Armed men. This is definitely the very same castle I've been living in! I walk through hallways to hallways before I feel like I should go back to Alexandra.
I move back to the room and find the maids trying to make her wear a beautiful dress. A wedding dress. I look around the room and find portraits but... Diego's portraits all around. There were Alexandra's when I had first come to this room but now it is just Diego's. And why the f**k are these of Diego's!?
"I still remember the day when he came representing his kingdom to meet my father. He was so stern and I was instantly attracted to him. He came for supper and I couldn't keep my eyes off him. Probably feeling my stares for too long, he looked towards me and I had quickly duck my head making it clear and me embarrassed. When I had looked up, I saw a smirk on his face. I was so embarrassed and so when he came to me after that. I was very nervous in front of him. And he continued making me intimidated until he smiled and I swooned. We strolled in the garden back in my kingdom and did all the talking. He was more than ready to hear me and I told him about what I like the most and what all are the things that I hate! During that talk only he told me about Gina, the lady who had taken care of him since he was a child. The way he talked about her, I knew he respects her a lot. And when met her in person, I can see why." Alexandra says.
"Princess, it's your wedding today. And you slept in our majesty's bedroom..." The maid draws hesitantly.
"The majesty didn't want me anywhere else. He himself slept somewhere else while I was in his room." Alexandra says blushing.
As she continues to talk, I remember the exact same things that she is talking about. She talked about how she and her to-be husband met back at her kingdom. And I remember the same exact things filling tears in my eyes because I don't know or understand how do I know about all this.
I remember the man coming into the kingdom where Alexandra used to live. On the visit to her kingdom, the man from here chose Alexandra. She didn't know how to feel about it at first but soon they both were talking strolling in the garden and at nights watching the stars up high. Because of the health of his father, they had to agree on marrying earlier than planned. And both fell in love too earlier than planned.
I try and try hard but I can't remember the face of the man. s**t!

I spent my time in the room seeing everybody dressing up. And I feel like I'm watching myself. And all this is just too... how do I put this? I'm wearing western clothes and roaming in the castle and above that, I'm I don't know how many years back? And with all the beautiful ancient things around me, I look like an outcast but then, it's not like anyone can see me.
The wedding starts soon and I am standing just beside the bride. The song starts and it's very loud. It's actually trumpets and drums. The door which we are standing behind is mahogany with many carvings on it. It has elephants and dragons as the main carved animals. The door opens and an old man holds Alexandra's hand but he is not Alexandra's father since I seem to remember every single person sitting here in the court. He is the husband of Gina. He volunteered to play the father's role in the wedding. And so he is here. I remember it all.
As we walk down the aisle with Gina's husband looking like a proud father, we come close to the groom and my breath instantly hitches seeing the groom.
"Diego?" I whisper shocked. Gina's husband gives Alexandra's hand in Diego's and makes Diego promise to always be with her and never ever dare to hurt her. But what is he doing here!?
The priest steps ahead and chants some lines from the Holy book. Alexandra and Diego, both say their vows one by one with the agreement of what the priest asked them about.
The priest announces both Alexandra and Diego as husband and wife and Diego immediately kisses his bride while I stand there like an i***t, smiling there. I didn't even hear their vows because I was too busy wondering about Alexandra's previous home which I don't know about but still know at the same time.
They both greet the guests before Alexandra gets the title of the Queen too. Diego declares her the new Queen and the celebration just doubles.
WOW!
What a life!
