In the east,Kulos and Forn meet the Blacksmith at Winon. Kulos and Forn had travelled months in Vixon searching for Geo until they got a clue that he was in Winon. The Blacksmith tells them that they had gone west to transport weapons. Kulos sees the stable. He recognizes the horses. He assumes Geo to be in Idleton as he and Forn make their arrangements to travel to the west.
Meanwhile, in the west, Geo and Thedis reach Perseus,the city in Idleton. The Blacksmith house is locked where he had stayed a long time ago. The soldiers patrolling the city see the golden ring in Thedis's hand and both of them are captured and are taken to the prison. George asks him to be submitted to the Baron Taki.
