Ding Dong!!

Jake rang the door bell that was very close to the door, this was the location he supposed to make a delivery to and he was quite nervous which was something that rarely happens to him

Jake rarely does the delivery but since, the restaurant became short of two delivery men at the restaurant after the boss got angry and sacked then in a fit of rage

He had stepped up to take the Job at the side since he was really good with driving bike fast, he saw the delivery as a side gig to earn more bucks or his side hustle,

Jake looked around the area as he tried his best to take in all the view since the person behind the door seems to be taking all there time in the world before the responded to the door

He looked at the all the plants and flowers that was spread around the front door giving it a peaceful vibe and he smiled when he realised he was not really feeling as irritated as he was before

After waiting for about accurately fourty seconds and the door was not opened Jake was already moving his body towards the door as he hand moved towards the door bell

He wanted to get over with this delivery fast and try his best to get a five star as that would warrant a tip from his boss

But before his hand could touch the doorbell the door opened and the lady who walked out of the house was not even looking at where she was going because she she was still on her phone and she bumped into jake's chest

Maria quickly raised her head up, and there faces were just inches away from each other, there gaze held each other captive as no one want to be the first to break from it , in a normal situation

Maria's reaction would have been to shout and at least try to create some distance between them but she was so lost in his eyes that she could not help getting more lost into those deep, profound eyes of his that seems to admire her with no visible lust in them

Jake hadn't been expecting anybody to come out in that manner just when he was about to press the doorbell, that was just by the side of the door everything happened almost in an instant and the next moment he realised that they were face to face, there lips just seperated by few inches

' Stop staring at him like a dummy, do something, stop getting lost in those beautiful eyes of his, do something'

Those where Maria's thoughts as she kept on assuring herself to stay cool, she tried to push herself away to give a little distance between her and Jake but she just seems to get more lost and lost in him

They both stayed silent and it seems to really help. Calm there mind as after a few seconds of Silence jake decided to pull back

" Sorry about that I'm delivery guy that has come to deliver your food package if you don't mind" Jake said as he pushed a book he came with him into her arms with a pen so she could sign

Jake was really feeling nervous at this moment and for the first time, jake was actually looking at what he was wearing hoping he dressed a bit more, he was almost dieing from embarrassment having his crush stare at him

Maria on the other hand really wanted to say something, wanted to tell him she knew him she just did not know how to start up a conversation with him at this moment

'I think we've met before' Maria though of saying this while still holding on to the book that was passed to her, signing it after some delay

She felt what she thought of saying sounded awfully but she still steel herself to starts the conversation

" I have a very sharp impression of you and I think I have seen you somewhere before" Maria question indirectly.

" that's definitely true we had in fact met before at the restaurant where i work, you were having a meal with someone else on that very day if I remember correctly "

" I don't think I can forget that day you came to the restaurant in that beautiful red dress looking like a little temptress no offense " Jake felt he was going off the boundaries with his complement and quickly apologise

" none taken " Maria chuckled as she finally felt at ease with him after he started talking

" Actually I wanted to tell you that day that you look beautiful but unfortunately for me, I got called by my boss and I had to leave because of Duty calls"

Jake said as he passed her the meal while collecting his book back

" I guess it was nice talking to you, and please do drop by at the restaurant anytime you feel and let me serve you my best cocktail I promise you it would amaze you" Jake quickly said as he felt it was time he started going after all he had overstayed his welcome

And he didn't want the conversation becoming weird

" okay I will keep that in mind!".

" Jake!"

" hmmm"

" my name.... My name is Jake pretty lady, what's your?"

" Maria.... Maria Gigante" Maria replied him back as he finally put in his helmet on after flashing her a smile, he waved and drove off

Maria watched him drive off and serious could not explain what she was feeling, it felt good, it was there were little rabbit hopping around in her stomach, just few seconds with Jake made her relaxed and smile alot

There was something about him that just fascinated her, she reminisce on his strong hands that were just above her head a few seconds ago, she was having a mind picture of them around her waist

Or his fingers trailing down her body and caressing her, she quickly shook her head to stop those thoughts

Yeah she found him incredibly breath taking but she still wanted to uphold her little dignity and not throw herself to him like her body was craving

I seriously can't predict what comes over me every time I stare at that particular lady, I could still remember the day I first set my eye on her

She came to the restaurant and I spent the entire day thinking about her and hoping that surely she might come by the restaurant again, thus have never happened to me before

I never would have thought that I'll be seeing her so. Soon just when I am making my first delivery of the day, it was almost like something was trying to bring us together, though I didn't believe in thinks like faith but o was thanking fate for this encounter now.

she was beautiful in every way and angle looking into her eyes just seems to call my name, drawing out my wildest fantasies as I just wanted to draw her closer into my embrace at that moment but at the same time I was shy

It was something that never happened to me when I talk to a lady but I could not find the proper words to tell her

Yeah all this while that I was at the restaurant waiting for her to slide by I have practiced tons of words to start up a conversation with her but the moment I stared into her eyes

I forgot all of them, it was like a factory reset happened in my head and I forgot everything

The only thing that I can use ti console my self is that I finally know her name and where she lives.
