“That’s not complicated or anything,” I mutter. She laughs at me.
“Yeah, it can be, but once you understand it, it just comes naturally.” She pauses, taking a breath in, then out. “It's like meditation. You have to find the piece inside of you where your magic resonates.”
I honestly thought this would come naturally to me, this learning actual magic, but the more she talks, the less I seem to understand. I don’t feel my magic inside of me. It just is. She must take my silence for the confusion it is, because she continues.
