Finn -Double
My bed was empty when I opened my eyes , wiping at them angrily I turned groaning.
I was pretty sure Delilah had been in my bed last night, I had a vivid image of her standing on the worn wooden boards in nothing but a damn pink lace thong and even more vivid memory of the feel of her ass under my hand, or even worse pressed up against my boner.
But she wasn’t here now.
There was nothing but a slight warmth where her body had been and the smell of her perfume.
Thank god I had passed out before I had done something stupid. Like f**k her silly.
She was Delilah D, Internet sensation , international DJ and my best friends kid sister. She wasn’t made for the likes of me even if it meant nothing to either of us.
Still where the f**k was she? Girls didn’t just sneak out of my bed.
The sound of an engine starting made me freeze. No f*****g way, twitching the curtains I peered down into the courtyard.
Damn prospect.
Obviously my threats last night had fallen on death ears because he was, down below. Smiling like a loon as Delilah climbed on to the back of his bike. Her dress hiked up her creamy thighs and a pair of battered converse on her feet. I had a moment to sigh a sigh of relief that she wasn’t wearing heals at least when I realised the leather jacket she was wearing over her obscenely gorgeous dress was that of the prospects and rage engulfed me.
What right did he have to put such a claim on her? She wasn’t for him, she wasn’t for any of us.
Maybe the kid needed a broken jaw to drive the message home.
Pushing my feet into my boots I took the stairs two at a time, crashing through the main room where several people were still passed out .
“Where you going in such a hurry?” Dodges voice was knowing, a note of laughter in it.
“The f**k You let her go off with the prospect for?” I whirled on him, the anger making my hands shake.
“She needed a ride back to Doms, he was up and sober. You the one who bust his lip?”a grey streaked eyebrow arched.
What could I say, if Dodge knew what had been about to happen he wouldn’t be looking at me with that smirk on his face.
“Yeah.”
He nodded. “You need to leave her alone Double, she’s not a kid no more.”
“I’ll leave her alone when he does.” I sent the retort over my shoulder as I headed out the door and towards my bike.
A slight breeze fluttering the hem of my white T-shirt and I slid onto the familiar machine. Feeling it Hum to life between my thighs I settled into the familiar thrill that came with having such a powerful machine on the road.
It didn’t take me more than five minutes to catch up with them. But it took him at least another two to finally pull over and when he climbed off he looked apprehensive. His hands held out in front of him as if to ward off a blow.
“I told you to leave her the f**k alone.” My finger was barely an inch away from his face, my hand trembling as the need to visit real violence on him engulfed me. “Get on the bike Del.” I cast a glance at her, jerking my chin towards my bike and she sighed like a teenager.
“Always spoiling my fun.” She muttered and I whirled at her.
Spoiling her fun? What did she think this was? She wasn’t a kid anymore and needed to start acting like it.
“You.” I turned back to the prospect. “Are going to be having words when I get back.” I let the threat sink in. It wouldn’t be words we were having it would be blood. More specifically his blood on my knuckles.
“Stop playing these games Del, they are beneath you.” I settled myself back down on the saddle, feeling her arms slide around my waist.
How many times had she been behind me? More times than I could count but this felt different. Like she belonged there.
I pushed the thought away as I pushed the bike faster. The wind whipping the T-shirt so it plastered to my body.
“f**k You Double.” Her words were poison as she slipped from behind me and stomped her way up the stairs to her brothers small house. Her ass swaying.
“No Delilah…”I was right behind her , this couldn’t go on Dodge was right. We had to make this right even if it meant we were never friends again. We owed it to Dominic to at least he civil.
“Leave me the f**k alone Finn, I mean it. Stop interfering in my life. I’m not a kid anymore.”
I opened my mouth to answer her back when Dom’s deep rumble interrupted me.
“Something happen between you and my sister last night?”
The sound of a door slamming echoed in the silence that followed.
How could I explain to Dom what had happened? “Yes, but not…”
He didn’t let me continue. “Did you f**k my baby sister?” The dangerous quietness of Dom’s anger brushed over me and I turned to him. “No, god no.”
He seemed to study me and I didn’t flinch.
“I would….”
Again he cut me off. “But you wanted to?”
I opened my mouth to explain to him what had gone down last night and then snapped it shut. What would be the point. He would see straight through any lie I gave him.
“You want to f**k my kid sister?”
I sighed, my shoulders moving. “Yeah ok, what do you want me to say. I want to f**k Delilah.”
