I am so glad now that I brought Josie to sleep in our room. That just gave us some more time to find a way to be safe while the kidnappers search for her in the rest of the house. I made sure to lock up the door of our room from inside before going to get my phone and call the cops. They can break the door down, but it will also give us some more time to hide.
I ran up straight to the table where I always keep my phone. But surprisingly, it is not there now. I remember seeing it there this morning. So, where did it go now? I looked all over the room and realized it’s not here. Maybe Violet took it away. If she planned all of it, then she must have also removed my phone to make sure I can’t call anybody for help. So, what should I do
