Chapter 15Five days later, at O’Reilly’s front door, I stopped and took a second to get my cool back. I didn’t even know if I had the right to be here at all. I hadn’t given him any sign of life since our only night together. Every time I’d picked up my phone to return his call, I’d changed my mind and dove into work again.
