Chapter 14An hour later, O’Reilly and I sat face to face in the living room area, drinking a glass of red wine. Derek wore a gray sweater I knew would be soft to the touch and that hugged his chest perfectly. The neutral color of the cardigan brought out the red sheen of his hair, the topaz green in his eyes. I was dazzled by him. Could barely look at him without losing track of our conversation, which wasn’t too heavy, as he’d barely said a few words since walking into my place.
