"Hey, John! Is everything going well?" I asked my club manager as I stepped into my office. Apart from the various businesses I owned, I also owned the most happening club in Rome, Blu.
I was in Rome handling my family's businesses and expanding them. I also managed the operations of the Italian mafia from Rome.
"Everything is going smoothly, Boss. Tonight, we have a massive crowd. Youngsters are flooding in crazily. We're packed to capacity, and the line outside the club keeps growing every minute," John informed me.
"That's great news! Keep it up," I said, finding a comfortable spot in my office. It was soundproofed and located on the top floor, providing me with a one-way mirrored window through which I could observe the activities inside my club.
"Boss, I'm sending you your favorite drink," John said, to which I nodded in acknowledgment.
"Thank you, John," I replied as he left the room.
After going through a few emails and checking Blu's account reports sent to me by John, I picked up my drink and walked to the one-way mirrored window.
I surveyed the dimly lit surroundings. The club was alive with people dancing and enjoying the loud music.
Amidst the vibrant crowd, a familiar figure caught my eye. She was sitting at the bar, taking shot after shot while her friends encouraged her to drink more.
Bella!
What was she doing here?
Next to her was her friend, Doctor Olivia D’Angelo, who then dragged her toward the dance floor. Hell! She stumbled, her steps unsteady. She seemed utterly drunk.
Fuck!
What on earth was she wearing? f**k me! Her tight little body was on full display in those tight pants and that scrap of cloth passing off as a top, hardly able to cover her perfect curves. I looked around and my anger grew even more. Those motherfucker perverts were watching her like hungry wolves, and it made my blood boil with rage.
Some men were even dancing too close to her, their hands brushing against her delicate body as they pretended to dance with her. My innocent petal was oblivious to their advances with filthy intentions.
Unable to stand there and watch Bella do reckless things any longer, I left my office in a hurry, rushing downstairs and into the heart of the dance floor. As I arrived, a wave of irritation washed over me when I saw Bella dancing with other men so closely, their hands on her and she didn't care about it.
Someone was going to be f*****g killed by my hands today.
I pushed my way through the crowd, my bodyguards clearing a path for me. Shoving those bastards away from my petal, I glared at the one who protested, but the clear warning in my ablaze eyes made him take a step back.
"Hello, doctors!" I greeted the girls collectively.
Bella turned in response, her unsteady movement causing her to falter and fall right into my arms.
I blinked in astonishment at the beauty in my arms. A sigh of awe escaped my lips as I found myself lost in the captivating depths of her emerald-green eyes. They gazed back at me, radiating an enchanting sweetness that made me forget the world around us.
She was, without a doubt, the most breathtaking sight I had ever laid my eyes on. My heart danced a chaotic rhythm within my chest as her soft hands gently brushed against my torso, leaving trails of warmth and desire in their wake. But before I could savor the moment any longer, she summoned her strength and pushed me away.
"Let go of me, Vin," she slurred, her words tainted by the unmistakable influence of alcohol.
I couldn't help but curse under my breath as a mixture of frustration and concern churned within me. She was so utterly drunk, yet undeniably alluring.
Oh, baby, you need to be taught a lesson for behaving like a bad girl.
"Dr. Bella, you're not in a good situation to be left alone. Let me take you home," I offered with a smirk as I watched her struggle to extricate herself from my arms.
She was such a cute little thing!
"Mr. Leonardi, don't worry. We will take care of her," Dr. Olivia D’Angelo assured me with an awkward smile.
"Yeah, I can see that," I retorted as I shot a glare in Dr. D’Angelo’s direction.
"No, no! You're getting it all wrong. She's not that drunk," Dr. Layla Amato batted her eyes sensually. I had ignored her flirting and advances previously, but this time I was irritated. "She had just one shot. However, I am feeling dizzy," she whispered seductively, placing a hand on my arm.
I shrugged her hand off harshly, disgusted by her touch, and was relieved by her offended look.
I glanced sternly at the group of doctors.
"It seems you all had your fun tonight, and now it's time to leave," I ordered, fixing an intimidating stare on each of them.
"Micah, make sure they all reach home safely," I instructed my right-hand, before turning my attention back to my petal. "And you are coming with me," I gritted out as I hoisted her over my shoulder, not caring what others would think.
"What the hell are you doing? Let me go, you jerk!" She yelled, flailing her arms and legs in a futile attempt to escape my grasp. I didn't waver and continued striding toward my office. The drunk petal was more difficult to handle.
"Why the f**k are you here? Are you stalking me?" She bit out as I placed her gently on the couch in my office.
"Petal, don't provoke me any further. I'm already very angry," I warned her sternly.
"What have I done?" She pouted, furrowing her eyebrows together in a way that made me want to kiss those pouty lips if I weren't so angry with her.
"You don't know what you've done?!" I challenged her, gripping her chin firmly in my hand and forcing her to look into my eyes. Her beautiful green eyes were half-closed due to intoxication, adding a layer of vulnerability to her already captivating gaze.
"You were dancing with those filthy men, and they were touching you all over. How could you be so careless?" I scolded in a harsh whisper as a frown took over my expression.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
"Why... why do you care?" She stammered, a hint of hesitation creeping into her gaze.
"I f*****g care, damn it!" I couldn't help but shout in frustration.
She flinched at my outburst, her eyes tightly closed, and I immediately regretted losing my temper. f**k!
"I'm sorry, Petal," I sighed as I caressed her cheeks tenderly with the back of my knuckles. "Sometimes, you make me lose my mind," I whispered, brushing my lips lightly against her temple. "Baby, if you want to drink and dance, I will clear the whole club for you. You just need to voice it out."
"Can you really do this?!" She blurted out, her bright, innocent eyes widening in surprise as she looked up at me for confirmation.
I nodded, a fond smile tugging at the corners of my lips as I watched my petal so excited and happy.
"Okay," she affirmed, her eagerness evident.
I couldn't help but shake my head, chuckling at her response.
My naughty petal!
I hastily dialed the club manager's number.
"John, get the whole club empty right now," I ordered in a firm tone of command.
"But, Boss, we can't afford to do that. The rush is at its peak. It will spoil our goodwill," he replied, his voice laced with panic.
"I don't care, John. Just f*****g do it quickly," I commanded sternly, looking at my petal who was looking down through the one-way glass wall.
"Okay, boss," his hesitant response came through the phone speaker, and I could hear the trepidation in his voice.
After a few minutes, he finally informed me that the crowd had dispersed, and the club was now empty.
"Come, Petal, let's go. The club is all yours. You can dance the whole night," I told her and was pleased to see a warm smile spreading across her face.
I shook my head as my greedy heart rejoiced that she smiled for me. She was surely drunk; otherwise, she would never have appeared pleased to see me.
I took her hand, and together we descended the stairs. She moved with the exuberance of a happy child, spinning around in sheer delight. Making her way to the DJ, she whispered her favorite song to him. Then, she sauntered over to the bar to order some shots for herself.
I watched her every move, captivated and intrigued by her actions. There was something about her, something enchanting and free-spirited that I couldn't help but find utterly mesmerizing.
