Chapter 3

School had finally ended and all what was in the mind of Aleister was to get the hell out of here before Nick got to him. Immediately the last teacher for the day left the class, Aleister got up and ran for the door. He had succeeded in leaving the class safely but he knew it would not be that easy for him to get home without any injury, he continued running without even looking back for once. When he had gotten a good distance away from the school he was a little bit at ease and slowed down a little bit.

"So you think you could escape so easily?" Aleister heard a familiar voice and his heart almost flew out of his chest. It was Nick. The road leading to his house was a dark alley so if anything were to happen here it wouldn't really matter.

Card users always had gloves worn on both their hands, one had a compartment were the card was kept and could be accessed only by the user while the other glove was the GEI.

You could see energy gathering around Nick's hand that had the GEI on. He brought out his card and once the light on the GEI turned green signifying that he had gather enough energy,he released it into the card.

Nick's card slowly disintegrated, and small green particles could be seen just above his hand, were the card was before it was sucked into Nick's body. Nick's appearance began to change, his body became sturdy. He dashed towards the scared Aleister and land a punch bringing his face crashing into the ground, he immediately started bleeding,with nothing he could do Aleister could only be used as a punching bag to quench the rage Nick felt, he was thrown from this side of the street to another, increasing the numbers of injury on his body. Nick was frustrated that he could only making his body become sturdy and he could not yet making earth out of nothing or else Aleister would have been dead by now but he was sure he would overcome that before the exam.

After he was done giving Aleister the beating of a lifetime the green particles that were sucked came out and materialized back to his card, he left Aleister to his fate.

Aleister lying on the ground badly beaten with tears following from his eyes, he tried to shout but the pain he was feeling made him rethink. He lied on the ground thinking of how fruitless his life was, why was he even born, he wished he had just died. His father died when they were little leaving them with nothing but a huge debt to pay eventually leading them to extreme poverty, his mother could barely pay the fees for his school, she was happy when Taling city started taking care of James schooling, with that off her shoulders they still had a lot of debt to pay. Aleister lied there till it was late in the evening,he had gather little strength and decided to continue his journey home.
