It was odd, I felt like I was in a movie, all the hushed voices while I was cooking. Part of me was worried why Alaric arrived early, but I had no doubt between the two of them we'd be safe.
I sat down at the counter beside Hades and he rested his palm on my thigh while filling his plate along with Alaric.
"You're in for a real treat, Ric. Lilli is an amazing cook."
The fork looks like a toy in both their hands and I giggle slightly while looking down at the same piece of cutlery in my hand."
"What's so funny?"
My eyes dart to Alaric, whose looking at me with hesitant eyes, like he's trying to decipher if I'm trustworthy.
"Oh...uhhh....The forks...they look like toys when you guys hold them, in my hand its almost too big."
I hide my embarrassment behind the large glass
