I smirk while maintaining my eyes on the road.
"Well, I was going to kidnap you, but you
figured me out. So, we're going to stop by my apartment instead. There's some stuff there I need to pick up."
Her soft giggle makes my heart race, but I keep that reaction from reaching my expression.
My eyes land on her thigh and I wrap my palm around it. She looks down at my hand for a moment, most likely deciding if she wants to break my fingers or not. Thankfully, she looses interest and looks back out the window at the passing structures.
