Eternal POV
I look around me and I see the darkness and rubble and the smell of brimstone and smoke.
He’s kid-napped me and taken me to the underworld, I can see the lake and the river of souls next to the portal we came from.
I spin and run towards the portal, hoping the element of surprise will catch Dante off and I can get home but I’m not so lucky I smash into the portal like running into a wall.
I smash my fists against the portal and let out a deafening scream.
The pain of my fists not even registered.
My screams turns to sobs as I realise that I’m locked in this world against my will.
I feel the touch of his hands on my shoulders, and I’ll let out a growl.
“Don’t touch me, take me home” I beg him with rage in my eyes.
