My house was a one-story dwelling that had seen better days. It really needed some work, but I hadn’t had the time lately to do any repairs. Thankfully, it was late at night, so the worst of it was hidden away. After Noah parked, I led the way inside. The decor was eclectic at best, haphazard at worst. I usually bought things on a whim, things that made me happy. “Coffee? Water?” I offered as I locked the door behind me and hung up the keys on the rack in the hallway.
