We were in the last group to get teleported overseas. When I opened my eyes to see ocean waves crashing against the shore, there was no stopping my smile from widening. I had always dreamed of seeing the ocean in person, and I was finally getting that chance.
I carried Xeraphina to the edge of the shore and enjoyed the cool water against my feet. Xavier walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, then he rested his chin on my shoulder and mumbled, “I have never seen anything like this. You are gonna have to replicate this amazing view in the form of a painting.”
I leaned back smiling at the thought and responded, “That’s a definite!”
