“Montgomery Stanton the Third,” Abbie told Hollis after he’d gotten back to the station house. “Came here from back East a week ago, just as he told Mr. Hunt. Was staying at the Marston Hotel until he could find an apartment or condo according to what he told one of the desk clerks.”
“Rich?”
“I haven’t had a chance to dig that deep yet. The phone number he gave Mr. Hunt was the one to his hotel room, not his personal one, if he had one.”
“Is there anyone these days that doesn’t have a cell phone? Did you get into his room to see if there was anything in it that could give us a lead on his family, if he has one?”
