Wedding or a funeral

Ravenna’s eyes fluttered open, her mind foggy as she tried to piece together what had happened. Memories came rushing back, and she squeezed her eyes shut again, not ready to face reality. The door creaked open, and she heard footsteps. A gentle tap on her legs forced her eyes open, and she stared at the figure standing at the foot of the bed. “Who... who are you?” she asked, her voice shaky. All she could see was the back of the man. When he turned slowly to face her, her heart stopped. “Alp...ha...Dam...on,” she stammered, her voice breaking as the glow from his eyes returned. “No, not again.” “Mate,” he signed, his eyes locking onto hers. Panic surged through her, and she tried to stand, but her legs felt like jelly. Then, a horrifying realization hit her as she ran her hands between her legs. Her body went cold with shock. “You bastard!” she screamed, her voice laced with fury. Adrenaline kicked in as she leapt off the bed, her rage boiling over. Damon raised his hands, trying to sign something, but before he could, she grabbed a vase from the bedside table and hurled it at him with all her strength. The vase shattered against his head, the sound echoing off the walls. Blood oozed from the gash. You rapist!” she shrieked, her voice trembling with raw emotion. She grabbed another vase, ready to throw it, but the sight of blood trickling down his face stopped her. She hesitated, then bolted for the door, naked and desperate. Her feet pounded against the cold floor as she followed her instincts, finding her way to her room. Relief washed over her as she noticed the lights were off. Damien must be in his room, she thought, trying to steady her breath. But the moment she stepped inside, the lights flicked on, and she froze. “Where have you been?” Damien’s voice was calm but laced with cold suspicion as his eyes narrowed on her bare, trembling body. His gaze lingered on the bruises and blood between her legs. Ravenna’s heart sank. Tears welled up in her eyes as she met his gaze. He walked toward her, pretending to care. “What happened?” he asked softly, his voice dripping with false concern. “Is it what I’m thinking?” She nodded, choking on her sobs. “He did it again... he... r-ra... raped me,” she stuttered, collapsing into a heap of tears. Damien’s face contorted into a mask of shock—Oscar-worthy—as he pulled her to the bed. He didn’t ask how it happened or why. He wasn’t interested in the details. He just needed to know one thing. Do you know who’s behind this?” he asked, gently stroking her hair. “Yes,” she whispered, tears streaming down her face. “It’s Alpha Damon.” A flicker of satisfaction danced in Damien’s eyes. Everything was going according to plan. “I’ll kill him,” Damien growled, feigning righteous anger as he stormed toward the door. But just as he predicted, Ravenna blocked his path. “I don’t want you two fighting because of me,” she begged, grabbing his arm. Damien suppressed a smirk. “How about we get married tomorrow?” he suggested, his voice soft. “I don’t care how small the ceremony is. I’m tired of my brother disrespecting you. I want you to be my Luna.” Ravenna’s eyes widened with hope. She nodded. “Yes, let’s do it. I’m ready.” Damien smiled, hiding the triumph bubbling inside him. “I’ll make the arrangements.” He kissed her forehead and led her to the bathroom before slipping out of the room. Once outside, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number. “Yeah, she bought it,” he said, grinning. “The wedding’s tomorrow. And don’t worry, I’ve got a little surprise for her old man too.” Inside the bathroom, Ravenna stood over the tub, her hands shaking as she stared at the blood between her legs. It wasn’t the first time Damon had done this, but she had always let it go because he was mute. But now, for the first time, she felt a dark satisfaction thinking about the vase smashing against his head. Maybe this time, she wouldn’t let him get away with it. --- “You look so beautiful!” Diana gushed, fussing over Ravenna’s dress as she prepared for the wedding. “Thanks, Di,” Ravenna said with a weak smile. “And I’m sorry you have to help me after just getting back from the States.” Diana waved it off. “When I miss someone, I come back for them,” she said with a wink. Ravenna was about to reply when a soft knock interrupted them. “Ma’am, everyone’s waiting,” a voice called from behind the door. As Ravenna walked out with Diana trailing behind her, her eyes widened when she heard the words she dreaded the most from them. "MATE," His eyes were glued to Diana, filled with the same glow of recognition. Panic gnawed at the edges of Ravenna’s mind. Her legs wobbled. “Ravenna! Ravenna!” a tiny voice screamed, snapping her back to reality. Ava, Damien’s little sister, was running toward her, breathless. “What is it?” Ravenna asked, her voice tight. “Your pack... your father...” Ava panted, clutching her chest. Without waiting for an answer, Ravenna lifted her gown and sprinted for her car, heart pounding. Dad? Mom?” Ravenna shouted as she stormed into her old pack’s grounds, the place she had run from two years ago. Everything was in ruins—houses burnt, bodies strewn across the ground. Her pack lay decimated. “No!” she screamed, collapsing as she found her father’s head on a spike, her mother’s lifeless body beside it. Rage and grief tore through her as she ripped off her wedding gown in anguish. “Who did this?” she screamed, her voice echoing in the air. A sinister laugh rang out behind her. “Should’ve given me your p***y when I asked nicely,” a voice sneered. She turned to see Kelvin, the leader of the rogues, aiming an arrow at her. Time slowed as the arrow soared through the air. She braced herself for the impact, but instead, little Ava threw herself in front of the arrow, taking the hit. “Ava!” Ravenna screamed, cradling the dying girl in her arms, her body shaking with shock. Footsteps echoed behind her. She looked up to see Damien standing there, his eyes cold and cruel. “You traitor,” he spat, his voice like ice. “Take her to the dungeon. We will start from there. Ravenna’s world crumbled as Liam smirked at her while the guards seized her, dragging her away.
