The discussion concerning whether the Sylph would help with the retrieval drifted through the afternoon. The felines returned from their hunt and now lazed about on limbs overlooking the group, as they made proposals and counteroffers.
Sigmund was pretty free with the Brandywine name and treasury. He was fairly certain Helena would approve anything he did for a good cause. He felt most things he did were for the greater good. Since the scheme concerning the revenge of Beast took so much financial pressure, he did his best to mitigate the costs just in case. He did not want to win the battle to simply lose the war because of lack of funds. Even the Brandywine coffers had limits.
