I paced around my room, my mind racing with thoughts of escape. I had decided to leave this place, to run away from the devil king and his evil intentions. But how? I had no allies, no weapons, and no plan.
As I looked out the window, I noticed that the sun was rising. It was the time when the devil king usually went for his morning hunts. A glimmer of hope sparked in my chest. Perhaps this was my chance.
