NORA I kept having the same dream that night. It was all in the same sequence. I was standing in a clearing, surrounded by the men who had defiled me. They were taunting me, leering at me, and I felt helpless and terrified. Then suddenly, Rhett appeared, charging towards them with fury in his eyes. He fought them all off, one by one, until they lay motionless on the ground. But as soon as the last one fell, Rhett turned towards me, his eyes filled with sadness, and tears streaming down his face.
