Christian’s POV My heart sank at the thought of war. It was a path I wished to avoid at all costs, for the consequences would be devastating to our pack and the surrounding areas. My mind immediately went to Damian. He was going to be the bastard who would try to take from me the peace I had been trying to keep. If that was the case then I had to be ready to get to him.
