Daisy's POV

My baby is a werewolf? I can't believe this! I only found out about them being real and now I am carrying one?! It's crazy how comfortable I feel with Avery, probably because of this mate bond as he calls it. I take a deep breath, "His name is Tyler Reeds." 

I think about telling him everything, and I feel now is better than never. After I tell him what had happened at Tyler's house, I can feel his hands tighten around my waist. "He will never harm you again. I will always protect you." My heart flutters at his words. I never wanted to depend on a man, but I feel so safe with Avery. I believe that he can and will protect me. I cuddle against his chest for awhile and I must have fallen asleep. When I opened my eyes, I was in my room. I didn't even feel him carry me to the bed. I must have been exhausted. I take this time to just relax and think about of that I have learned these last few days. With all the bad, I'm still happy because of Avery. Just thinking about him makes me smile. s**t. Avery's POV

After putting Daisy into bed, I headed straight to my office. I called Kevin and Jackson to join me. When they sat in front of my, I told them about Tyler. They were just as enraged as I was hearing that someone hurt their future luna. "I want you guys to find out about this guy and bring him to me. Understood?" 

"Yes, alpha!" They reply at the same time. "Good, now. Tell me about your mate." I say to Jackson and he smiles immediately, just thinking about her. I know how he feels. I get like that too when thinking of Daisy. "Her name is Zoey and is an omega from the Blue Moon pack. I wanted to ask you if she could join our pack. I hate being away from her." I'm happy for him, really, but I tell him I would like to formally meet her first. He eagerly agreed and thanked me. "I have a meeting with the alpha of that pack tomorrow anyway, so have her come along." After that, I dismissed them and started doing my own research on this Tyler Reed. It's as if he doesn't exist. I can't find that name anywhere. After hours of stress, I decide to check on my mate. 

As I approach her door to knock on it, I hear the most delightful sounds from the other side. Is she doing what I think she is? f**k. My d**k is twitching from hearing her little moans. I smirk and she turns to face me. "You're regret saying that, because I'll never stop stealing glances." She laughed out. "We will be equal then, because trust me, I haven't stopped glancing and thinking about you since we've met." She snuggles closer to me and looks up into my eyes, "Do you want to feel something amazing?" I give her skeptical look and she blushes once again. I love that I have such a strong affect on this beautiful woman. "Yes." I smile at her. She grabs my hand and places it on her belly. It doesn't take long until I feel a powerful kick. I feel her soft hand on my cheek, wiping away a lone tear. "She's so strong. I can't wait to meet her soon." I take her hand from my cheek and place a kiss on her palm.
