His Redemption

Chapter 15: Friends

Marigold Fawn's POV

I was dying to go outside, to finally meet my friends, to finally feel the fresh air, to finally see the outer world. I felt empty, useless and weak. I can't believe I am married to this devil, my life is officially ruined because of him. I felt disgusted when I found him sleeping next to me. How dare he moves me onto his bed without my permission. He is so dominant and possessive which I hate in men, I hate him, I hate him so much, I despise him. That bastard thinks he can own me, oh how stupid he is to think that. 

I was now ready to meet my friends. Maybe this was my chance to get away from him but I was now tied to him legally. I missed my friends so much, I can't wait to meet them. A horn snapped me out of my thoughts. I walked out of the house, I mean the horrifying castle to find the devil leaning on his car waiting for me wearing his sunglasses and showing off his muscles through his tight fitted black shirt. I roll my eyes and walked towards him as he opened the door for me. I sat in without saying thanks. 

He jogged to his side and sat in and off we went to meet my friends. The car ride was silent with him giving me side glances every few seconds which were becoming very annoying. "What?" I spat in annoyance. His gazes were really making me uncomfortable and annoyed right now. "Nothing, your just so beautiful" he said which made my stomach flutter. Heat travelled to my cheeks as I look out of the window, "bastard" I muttered under my breath which made him chuckle. I then felt a hand on my thigh. I glared at the hand as it's thumb stroked my skin making me shiver. I slapped his hand away from my thigh but he replaced it back on to my thigh but with force this time. I sighed and decided to leave it not having the energy to argue with him.

After 20 minutes of his annoying side glances we finally reached my friends flat. They both lived together in a flat as they lived far from home. I quickly rushed out from the car and rang the door bell. Kate opened the door and her eyes widened when she saw me. I jumped on her squealing as she stood there shook. She then wrapped her arms around me, crying saying she missed me so much. "BETH, LOOK WHO IS HERE" Kate shouted in happiness and tears in her eyes. Beth came out of her room, eyes closed as she walked towards us like a zombie. I laughed at her state, Beth will be Beth. 

Hearing my laughter she opened her eyes as her mouth hung open. She quickly ran to me and hugged me in a tight embrace. "Oh my god, I missed you so much Mari, are you ok?, did he hurt you?, I am so sorry we couldn't save you, I-" she rambled on. "Hey, hey, it's ok, look I am fine, I am just so happy to see you two" I said smiling as we did a group hug. A fake cough interrupted our hug as we all turned around to face the devil behind us. 

The girls glared at the devil in anger but stood behind me in slight fear. "I'll pick you up at 3pm my love and don't even think about running away, I have my men outside the flat" he said expressionlessly. I looked at him with slight anger but gave him a nod. He walked towards me and kissed my forehead. "Have fun girls" he said and walked out of the flat making my friends sigh in relief. 

"Why do all hot ones turn out to be psychos" Beth said making Kate smack her on her arm. "Ow, what was that for?" Beth whined making me chuckle. We all sat down and Kate grabbed my hands "How are you?" she asked sadly with a smile. "I'm ok and...alive" I said quietly. "Mari, I want to ask you something and please tell us the truth, we are not stupid, we have noticed your behaviour the day you stopped hanging around with us after classes, what was the actual reason?" she asked in concern. 

I sighed and ran my hand through my brown locks. I told them the full story from my mom being married to Leonardo, from my mom treating me like a slave, the abuse from Leonardo, from meeting that devil on the street till now. They gasp in shock and both girls hugged me. "Oh Mari, you have been through so much and we-" Kate sobbed. I wiped her tears "You were always there for me, I just didn't tell you because I didn't want to trouble you with my problems" I said. Beth smacked the back of my head making me whine while Kate laughed. "Don't you dare say that, we are your friends for a reason, you can tell us everything and we will always support you" Beth said. I smiled at my best friends thanking god for allowing 2 angels in my life.

"So what are you going to do?, we can help you run away and-" "No" I cut Kate off. "I can't run away, believe me I tried hundreds of times but he always caught me. I even made it to a busy area still he caught me and if I do escape he will target you two and I will never allow that" I said while fisting my palms. 

The girls looked at me with sympathy. "We don't care what happens to us, you need to escape this man, he is crazy" Beth said in anger. "I can never let you two get harmed, I will just have to accept my fate but never will I accept him as my husband. I just hope he gets bored of me and lets me go" I said and laid on the bed. The girls laid beside me on each side as we stare at the ceiling in deep thoughts. 

It was now 3pm and the devil was standing in the living room staring at me while I hug my friends. I didn't want leave them but this devil....ughh. I waved at them while he held me by my waist walking me to the car. He opens the door for me and I sit down without saying thanks to him again............
