"Oh hi, Sir Bessemor."
Roes sighed in relief because her nervous system became tense and in some way, sent some warning signals to her.
She may have over drank milk this morning.
The man was still walking in a very slow manner, heads down and his shoulder was hanging low than ever before. His pace was like one in every minute, he's only in his mid-30s though.
Roes frowned, "Sir are you alright?"
The teacher was two meters away but Roes can visibly see blood on his clothes and had a strange messy appearance.
"Sir?" she called again
But the man kept on walking closer, now she can hear some low growling coming from him.
Roes was alarmed, took a step forward while observing the man. "Sir? Are you alright? Y-You have blood. I think you should go to the clinic? I can take you there." she offered, having an unpleasant feeling about this.
But the man continued, the growling became more heard.
"Sir." Roes made it louder enough to be heard.
"I could take you to Dr. Ferrel---"
"GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!"
Roes jumped in surprise when Bessemor made an awful growl and his head was raised, his veins were traced out on his skin, it was dark purpled stretched from the inside exposing to his neck and face, his skin was deadly pale, blood gushing out on his eyes and nose.
"SIR!" Roes called in shock
"GRRR!!!!!--" He growled louder as he tried to speed up his pace closer.
"Grrr---Fe-Grrr--Ferr---el---GRRR!!!"
He growled in an utmost noise and suddenly ran towards Roes.
She can't move an inch from the sudden mental disturbance and remained wide eyes as the seeming teacher became an awful monster.
But all of a sudden, when the man was about to plunge hideously. He fell on the floor straight. Straight as if he was struck by lightning.
Roes still didn't move from her position, breathing heavily, turning her eyeballs towards the man on the floor.
"Sir?" she asked once again
She immediately stepped back when the man twitched but it was just that, it lied dead on the ground again.
Roes can hear her heart pumping out from her chest, extremely nervous about what she should do. "S-Sir?" she called again having a closer look at the teacher.
She turned around to seek help but the ground floor was empty because the classrooms were not in this area.
She had no choice but to fetch someone. She clumsily ran for the clinic, hoping for Dr. Ferrel. But what she noticed the blood trace from the clinic, her heart became frantic once again, and immediately opened the door when she was almost got hit by a metal tube luckily she avoided it flexibly.
"M-Ma'am?" Roes was shocked by the chain of events.
Dr. Ferrel who had her shoulders going up and down from intense breathing was the one holding the tube but when she saw Roes, she smiled strangely.
"O-Oh, it's you, Roes! Haha, oh--sorry about this," he immediately withdraw the tube and took a glance outside, after confirming something, he drag Roes inside.
But Roes widened her eyes when she saw the current clinic, the furniture was disarranged, some documents were scattered, there are a lot of debris and there was blood around the room even to the doctor's white coat.
"I don't understand...---"
"HERE." Dr. Ferrel brought the black box towards Roes.
"I don't..." She paused and took a long breath, closing her shivering eyelash.
It took a moment before she faced Roes with her bloodshot eyes and the purplish veins were currently stretching around her neck, "I don't... have... much time, keep this," she pointed to the secured black box "...get out of here, bring this out, and as much as you can, give this to the people who are waiting... outside." she's almost out of breath
"Just tell them, it's from me. And tell them," Dr. Ferrel was already short for breath, panting she uttered,"...that organization, WIC... they mustn't get hold of this...tell them...Now go!" She said in a tense manner. Dr. Ferrel was keeping her eyes shut, trying to stop the flow of blood from it.
"I-I don't understand...---" Roes suddenly felt the intensity of her nervousness.
"This place... is no longer safe, the infection has spread now go, please... that is the only hope we can rely on." Ferrel is involuntarily twitching her head and hands like she was being controlled over something.
"B-But Ma'am why can't you---?" Roes reached out
But Ferrel was twitching in an ugly manner that her head almost switched unto her back.
"G-Go---ugh---go--please-" the doctor was begging and raised a sharp-pointed tool leveled in her head then in a quick manner, she struck her head with it, piercing all the way through.
She fell miserably.
Roes didn't make noise nor make any movements, her head was aching from the scenes and frowned from the pain, it was tingling with intense pain.
"Ugh." she groaned as she placed her knuckles in her head.
She fell on her knees from the excruciating pain going all the way through her lungs. She was breathing heavily, shutting her eyes from the spreading pain.
When all of a sudden, an explosion was heard throughout the school, the building she's currently in trembled from the impact.
Roes tried to breathe in and out, she was tearing but slowly calmed down. She glanced at the doctor's dead body and remembered her last words.
"Not... safe." she panted heavily as she uttered those words and looked at the black box.
Roes tightened her grip on it and immediately turned around. She slowly opened the sliding door and checked from left to right, it was confusing that no one was around even though the explosion occurred. She went out and immediately targeted the stairs toward the second floor which is where her classmates are.
Dr. Ferrel said about the infection spreading, Roes taught about the condition of Sir Bessemor.
"It... It may be like that." she seriously whispered in herself carrying the black box securely.
She slowly stopped when she got neared in the dead body of Sir Bessemor, the dark veins popped and gushed out black blood.
Roes observed but immediately then resumed running towards the stairs.
Roes concluded that if it was something like a virus infecting people then it wasn't airborne nor through the liquid. She faced her professor earlier and unfortunately got some small droplets of blood but nothing happened to her, even her close contact with the doctor in a closed area hasn't brought changes to her except for her short emotional breakdown from the shocking events.
Must be hereditary?
But the doctor said it was spreading around the school.
Lost in thought, Roes suddenly saw someone on the upper stairs rolling downward. She turned and saw it was a male student panicking. Then more students were rampaging from the upper floor running down towards the ground floor, she secured the black box while withstanding the power of the crowds.
It was a mess and their noises were piercing into her ears. She covered the black box securely and tried to move upward.
"Hey, Roes! Don't go up there!" one of her classmates called
"T-T-There are crazy people up there! They had lost their minds!!!" her classmates panicked.
"Mila and the others?? Where are they??" she asked back not composing herself anymore.
"I-I don't know! Just--Just don't go in there!"
