Bang
Some one bangs so hard on the bathroom door that Roselyn is hiding in that Rose jumps up. She doesn’t really want to open the door, but she knows she can’t hide in here forever. So she moves to the bathroom, and just as she starts to open the door it jumps again from some one knocking so hard.
“Come on open up!” A deep masculine voice calls out. Rose quickly unlocks the door and opens it to see Olivia’s brother standing there glowering at her. Olivia is her new college roommate she just met this morning. Rose only knows it’s Olivia’s brother as he was quickly pointed out when the group of girls entered the party. The girls she was with thought he was, while she was absolutely terrified of him.
Rose really didn’t want to come to this house party, or go clubbing afterwards, but Olivia insisted. Roselyn was completely exhausted, she drove six hours to the Northwestern campus, only to stand in line for an hour at the dorms to find her room, and roommate.
When she got there she was relieved to meet Olivia, she was a bit heavier like herself. However in comparison Olivia was very beautiful, Roselyn felt like a fat nerd in comparison. But Olivia was sweet and welcoming to her, so when she offered her to go out with her she couldn’t turn down the offer. Rose really wanted to get along with her new roommate. Hell Rose wanted a friend. Which brought her back to now.
“Olivia is leaving,” Olivia’s brother told her, she really should learn his name, but he is just so scary. The man has to be over six foot two, and is nothing but solid muscle. That isn’t necessarily what makes him scary, as a lot of the men here are full of muscles for some odd reason, Olivia’s brother seems to have this scowl etched onto his face. That’s not the scary part, it’s his eyes, the anger coming out of his eyes is terrifying.
“Okay,” she replied and edged her way around the muscly scowling man who was staring her down. Rose went to go find Olivia. Rose assumed she would be at the front door, so she weaved her way through the mass of bodies that made her social anxiety peak. She found Olivia at the door about to head out, scared she was about to be left in a house full of men she didn’t know she screamed,
“Hey wait for me!” Olivia looked back at her shocked,
“Wait your coming?”
“Yeah I guess,” Rose replied with an unenthusiastic shrug about the idea of going to the club. Olivia’s face pulled down into a frown,
“Roselyn you can stay if you want.” Rose panicked at being left.
“Oh no that’s not it, I’d rather just go back to the dorm and watch movies. But I guess that’s why I’m a nerd.” Rose replied with a shrug in her very uncomfortable outfit that Olivia insisted she wear. Olivia smile brightened up,
“That doesn’t make you a nerd, and you know what? Going back to the dorm sound better to me too. Let’s go.” Olivia grabbed her hand, but Rose stopped her.
“Wait, where are the rest of the girls?” Rose looked around for the other five or six of the girls they came with from the dorms, but she couldn’t see anyone in the massive crush of bodies.
“Oh they decided to stay here at the party.” Olivia replied with clear disappointment in her voice.
“Why?” Rose asked. Olivia didn’t say anything else, just walked outside and to the Uber that had pulled in front of the house. Rose couldn’t resist looking back at the house and saw Olivia’s brother staring at them creepily. In a low voice so he wouldn’t hear Rose told Olivia,
“Olivia don’t hold it against me, but your brother is scary.” Olivia had a laughing fit with that comment,
“Yeah he kind of is, and his name is Kane.”
Kane, she couldn’t help but think it suited him. Rose got in the Uber with Olivia and returned to the university.

Kane pov
Kane let out a little chuckle at Olivia’s roommate calling him scary. I guess he was, but he was protective of Livy, even though they were only step-siblings he always saw her as his little sister. Kane had known Livy since they were five and seven, even before their parents were dating. Hell they introduced each other. Kane got in trouble for hitting the bully that was picking on her, and when his mom started in on him about not getting into fights to deal with his anger out of nowhere came Livy to defend him. She told her mother what happened. The next thing Kane knew he was training with Joey and their parents were dating, while his live got better poor Livy’s life pretty much stayed the same.
Olivia always had trouble making friends, especially since her father was a world renowned MMA coach and a former heavy weight boxing champion. Everyone wanted to train with Joey Romano as he trained champions, and there were always people that wanted to ride the coattails to the top. Kane smiled it looks like she might have gotten a friend tonight. Even if it was with a weird chubby, frizzy haired chick. Kane walked into the house and yelled,
“All right any of you bitches that came here with my sister are out of here.”
“What? Olivia said we could stay,” one dumb one said. Most of the guys knew the deal. You don’t mess with his sister, or the b***h’s that hurt his sister. All the guys that had a girl hanging on them had about two feet separating them. There was one new guy who was training with them who wasn’t very bright. He was still hanging on the chick who talked.
“Do I look like Olivia? This is my house and I say you leave, now. And you I suggest you separate yourself from this slut if you still plan on training at Joe’s.” This motherf*cker thought he was somebody as he thought he could come at me,
“You can’t do that.” There was a group of gasps filling the room.
“Really? Why do you think Mick isn’t around any more?” Dumbass had no response to that and finally stepped away.
“Your mine during sparring tomorrow.” You could see him visibly pale, and considering he was African American it was an amazing feat.
“No, I don’t think I’m ready in my training for that.”
“Oh I have a lot to teach you mother *cker.” Kane took a look around the room and saw the women hadn’t left yet. “Didn’t I tell you sluts to leave?” The woman quickly snapped out of their stupor and ran to the front door.
Kane left the party and went to his room. He wasn’t much for parties any longer, it just wasn’t his scene. Kane put on his noise canceling earphones and went to sleep. Kane was too busy focusing on his career.
