Chapter 23 – Amelia taking the day off

POV
Amelia and Chloe called in sick today. I tried calling both Chloe and Amelia a million times but their phones went straight to voicemail. Something wasn’t right Amelia wouldn’t send a text to tell me she’s not coming in. something must be wrong. All I’ve been doing all morning is pace around my office.
I couldn’t take it anymore so I phoned Bentley my security guy.
“Sir?” he answers
“Find Amelia Hudson for me pronto” I order
“Yes sir right away.” he says
I don’t respond, I hang up the call. I couldn’t help but start pacing in my office waiting for a call from her. I kept running all theses different scenarios through my head and none of them were pretty. What if someone hurt her? What if she was hurt?
Maybe I should ask Kha
