Amelia had been busy with her boyfriend all weekend which meant I could do as I pleased on. I was still pissed off about when down on Tuesday, arrested because a woman didn’t like that I turned her down. What bullshit is that? Chloe has been my rock through it all. The embarrassment of being arrested for something you did not do and if it were not for Chloe, I know I would still be in jail.
I head to Chloe’s apartment after my workout. The other case I am working on has been at a standstill for a while now. I have a key so I let myself in, she knew I was coming over so it should not be a problem. I walk in and she is not in the living room, she normally waits for me here. She would jump on me as soon as I open the door, weird.
