Chapter 42 – Amelia finds out about Brianna’s return

POV
I stood next to my aunt as she got a cast around her ankle. She had an accident at work. Something fell on her ankle causing it to break and now we are in the ER because of that.
At least she will get a big payout from work for this. Or at least I hope she is.
I called Aaron earlier letting him know she is fine it was a clean break, so she will be home from work for the next couple of days.
My phone rings and I leave the room.
“Hello?” I answer.
“If it isn’t my favorite niece.” My aunt Micah says
I roll my eyes. “Don’t let Lyric and Kendra hear you” I cannot help but say sarcastically. She says that to all three of us if she wants something.
