Chapter 16 - Resigning

POV
I walk into work a month after my little drunk confession. I only had one beer and it was not strong enough for me to act that dumb, but I am going to blame it on that. We had worked passed that, Amelia and I have gotten really close during the last month, we talk daily, we call each other at night, and we send each other good morning messages.
I see Amelia’s office door is closed so I just walk into my office, I round my desk to start up my laptop and get myself and Amelia coffee like we have for the past month. I love our morning coffee conversations. She was really smart, and I trusted her enough to let her in on my projects and how I choose companies to work with. She has been helping me, so I was not swamped in work anymore.
