Kayla's phone beeped, and she looked at it. "It's my dad. I have to go. We are supposed to go to lunch today with my mom," Kayla said. Her parents were barely at home because they both worked a lot. Her dad was one of the head warriors, and her mom was a doctor at the Pack Hospital.
"Alright, I am supposed to meet my dad at the Packhouse. He wants to talk to me more about taking over the Pack," I said
"You want me to drop you off?" Kayla asked
"Yes, thanks," I replied. I put on my shoes, and we left my room. My mom was in the kitchen cooking. I knew she missed working at her restaurant.
