"Um, Hello," I replied, still shocked that my dad was sitting in our kitchen.
"Hey, Princess," My dad said
"Come sit. The food is almost ready," My mom said, and I walked over to the table to sit down
"I didn't expect to see you here this morning," I said as I looked at my dad
"I came over to see if you would like to me to take you to school today. Your mom and I started talking about things, and she asked if I would like to come in for breakfast. There was no way I was going to turn down a great meal. Your mom is the best cook in the world. I have missed her food," My dad said as my mom set a plate in front of each of us.
