chapter 15 where is Hayley

Darryl POV

The next day, Darryl woke up, he turned smiling but the smile faded when he didn't find Hayley laying beside him, he tried linking to her,

"Babe" Where are you" he waited for a few minutes, he didn't hear anything from here, he was thinking, this isn't like her, he got up dressed and went to Ron's office, knocking he told him to come in, he opened the door, asking, "Have you seen Hayley?" Ron nodded, handing him a note he started to read rolling his eyes

Today's the day love, one last test. Can you find me, a rogue captured me took me to a place where I'm chained up, and I'm really scared, use your nose and eye site, you have 24 hours to find me, I'll give you a hint, it's were you like to go to think,

He thought for a while. "It's where I go in think? I go to a lot of places to think when I have a bad day, this woman is going to kill me yet, he turned to Ron, "So I have 24 hours to find this woman?" Ron chuckled "yep you do" the last few have been easy, this one won't be. Some of the guards and warriors are in on it, so be prepared, because some you will have to fight, Darryl started laughing alright man, well I guess I'll get going to look for her then, he sighed, this wasn't what he was going to do today, but hey he thought, this is the last one, well this is what they say. He never came inside to think, he always stayed outside, he decided to try the lake first. There's a nice bench he would sit on and throw bread to the fish while set thinking about things, he decided to go there first, he rushed to the lake, where he sucked under tree limbs and jumped over logs,two hours later he was at the lake, but she wasn't there. But her scent was faint, she must have been. Here a few days ago, he noticed something taped to the old bench, he took it and read it,

(Nice try sweets, I knew you would come here first, one spot down, a few to go, come and find me and get your prize),

He chuckled at the note, she is so going to get it, he thought for a moment, there's the horse ranch, he decided to go there. He started to run, an hour later he was stopped by one of the warriors, he knew he was in on it, he got into his fighting stance, "sir you can't get through here," "s**t" I meant" "HEY YOU'"YOU CAN'T PASS HERE" I'LL KILL YOU" Darryl tried not to laugh, as he ran pushing him over. The guy grabbed onto his leg Darryl dragged him a few yards, it was a funny sight to see if you were there, the kid finally let go after he laughed so hard he couldn't hold on any longer. Darryl ran on, finally after another three hours he finally got to the horse ranch, he opened the doors and all the horses came running out, one almost kicked him in the head, he moved out of the way just in time, going inside he looked in every stall, one stall had her scent, he was thinking to himself "This was so not fair right now," he walked into the horse stall, looking around, again her scent was there, but faint. He looked for a note, finding it on the horse saddle,

( I see you found all the horses, get them back inside, then come find me,) I'm still waiting come claim your prize)

He rolled his eyes,as he thought about another spot, the wine cellar, he would go there and drink a few bottles when he had a bad day, so he turned and walked out of the horse stable, he past by a few trees, but what he didn't know there was a trap, a few trees later he stepped in the trap and up he went upside down, and cursing all the way. He hung there for awhile as he swung back in forth, a few guards walked by laughing,

"Sorry man she made us do it," he shook his head, as he reached up grabbing the thick rope, then grabbing a knife with his other hand the reached up and started cutting the rope, the rope cut and he went down, hitting the ground hard, he laid on his back catching his breath, then got up, he growled, as he stumped through the woods like a kid that lost his ball, he finally made it to the wine cellar he opened the doors and stomped down the stairs to see if she was there, he was getting frustrated, she wasn't there either but her scent was strong, so he thought she must had been. Here yesterday or today, he stood walking around, grabbing one of the bottles, drinking it down. He noticed a note on the wall

(So I know you're mad, but you got more time to get glad,) time is running out, are you going to let them kill me?")Or are you going to rescue me and get your prize,) by now it's been. Over a few hours since you started, so what are you waiting for!)

He sighed as he thought about the last place he would go, his eyes went wide, the waterfall, he loved to swim in the water when it was hot in sticky, he ran out of the cellar, then down the long path, it was night now, he didn't know what time it was, but somehow he knew it was late,

He passed through areas that deer were eating, he jumped over a sleeping boar hoping it wouldn't wake up in chase after him, he finally said the hell with it, deciding to shift into his wolf, he started to run faster, passing by trees and bushes, he ran passed a few bears that watched him run, somehow he knew they where were bears, he kept running as a guard got into the way, he ran past but the guard caught his tail, he held them there in place, this pissed him off, he reached back snapping at his hand, "Hey man," I'm just playing the part," don't get mad at me," he let go of his tail, running off once more, three hours later, he was almost at the waterfall, the sun was up, he didn't realize it was another day. He started early, he ran faster, finally getting to the waterfall, he saw her laying in the grass, was she sleeping, he walked over to her. Shifting back to human, He stood over her naked, he picked her up gently, he took her behind the waterfall, there was a cave that he stayed in when he didn't feel like going home that day.

Going inside, he laid her on the makeshift bed,whispering in her ear, "wake up sleeping beauty", I have saved my queen," he laid beside her laying his head down, he was so tired, he didn't realize he fell asleep until he felt fingertips running across his arm gently, then a soft kiss on his cheek, he heard her sweet voice, whispering, "Wakeup my king" we need to get home," he blinked few times then yawned, he set up, "How long have I been asleep?" Smiling "only for about four hours" I let you sleep, I knew you must had been exhausted" he nodded "I was" but I'm alright, we should head home before Ron starts freaking out she nodded as they both got up, let's shift we can get there faster, they both shifted she. Shifted into her white wolf, he shifted into his black wolf, he looked down at his paws stunned, his wolf was brown, she linked to him, you are king now, the color of your wolf changes colors his fur is black now. He nodded as they ran home. They were both exhausted when they finally got home, they didn't go see Ron, they went up to there room, and fell fast asleep, they couldn't hold there eyes open any longer.
