Dawn and Sunny

August's POV "Get up! Get up! Get up!!" Someone shouted. Then before I knew it something heavy was placed on top of me. I didn't want to wake up because I had school and I don't like school one bit. "So help me Auggie, if you don't wake up in the next five seconds, you're going to regret it!" I know who it was who was talking to me. I just didn't care to wake up because I know she wouldn't do anything. Or so I thought. With that in mind, I went back into dreamland. It was going well until she brought a blow horn to my ears. I jolted up out of the bed and fell over in the process with a loud thud. "What the fudge Annie?!" I asked her annoyed and rubbing my head while I reached for my glasses on the bedside table. She gave me this innocent-looking face and said "You didn't want to wake up. Mom is preparing for work and she said that you have to make me chocolate pancakes for breakfast and I was hungry so I woke you." "No," I said to her getting up. "You're going to eat oats for breakfast because of what you did," I said to her with a smirk on my face. All of a sudden, her face changed and she had an evil glint in her eyes. "Oh my gosh, Auggie! I thought you were dead! You scared the life out of me! What kind of sick joke was that?! I'm going to tell mom!" She began crying. I was shocked and pretty sure my face looked like I have just seen a ghost. I tried shushing her and she hushed then folded her arms and looked at me with eyebrows raised. Now I realized what was going on here. I glared at the girl in front of me. "Okay okay. I'll make you the pancakes! Jeeze! You're so annoying..." She grinned at me and then she ran downstairs so let me tell you, that was my sister Annie. She can be cute and adorable fifteen percent of the day and the devil for seventy-five. I did my business in the bathroom and then headed downstairs to have breakfast. As I stood at the kitchen doorway, I saw Annie sitting at the table with her head in her hands humming a song. She was in her own world, not even aware that I was watching her. I knew the song she was singing. Last night we watched Strange Magic, her favorite movie. It was also mine but I wouldn’t be caught dead admitting that. Although I think Annie knows. She was humming 'don't Worry', the song that Dawn and Sunny were singing when they were near the border of the dark forest. I just couldn't help myself as I started to sing it: "Don't worry about a thing, Cause every little thing is gonna be alright. Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, Cause every little thing gonna be alright! " Her head shot up and she showed me a wide grin as her eyes twinkled. She then started to sing along with me and we both started dancing and singing the song. "Don't you worry about a thing cause every little thing is gonna be alright Rise up this mornin', Smile with the risin' sun, Three little birds Pitch by my doorstep Singin' sweet songs Of melodies pure and true, Sayin', "(This is my message to you-ou-ou)"... We heard laughing in the kitchen and I immediately stopped. "Haha. Someone's happy this morning." I knew that voice all too well. I glared at my friend Cameron Gold who stood at the doorway with arms crossed over his chest and an amused glint in his eyes. "What do you want?" I asked flatly. His face changed into mock hurt as he pouted and whined, "where did the happy one go? This one is too mean." Annie giggled and I rolled my eyes and turned my back on him to go make the pancakes for Annie. It was quiet for a while as I made the pancakes until I heard hushed whispers and snickers from behind me. I turned around and saw Annie whispering in his ears, while he wore a goofy grin on his face. I looked at the two weirdly and shook my head. "You two are so weird." They both stuck out their tongues at me and continued with their little secret talking. -- I had about thirty minutes before school started so I took a few pictures with my camera. I plugged it into my laptop and played with the images a bit because I didn't have anything better to do. I was pretty impressed with the masterpiece I had created after. I took my card reader and put a memory card inside so I could transfer it from the laptop to the memory card. When I was done, I put the card reader with the memory card inside it, inside of my pocket. I looked at the time and then saw I had only twelve minutes before school started. I hopped into my beat-up old mint ash truck and sped to school with my camera still hanging around my neck. I reached school in seven minutes. While walking down the hall minding my own business when suddenly I was knocked to the floor. I was slow to comprehend what had happened. "Watch where you're going loser!" That voice I knew all too well. Belle Wilkins. The Queen of Oak Hill High School. I shoved her off me and picked up my belongings that had fallen and rushed away. I knew everyone saw what had happened. I didn't care one bit. I just need that bi-- her away from me. Just in time, the bell rang signaling that the first period started and I went to my first class of the day, slightly pissed off at the incident that happened earlier but I know that would soon subside. Stupid populars.
