“Nanny Rose I am back”, Rija shouted as soon as she entered the house.

“Welcome Baby Rija.”, Nanny Rose greeted her with a warm smile.

“Oh, please Nanny Rose stop calling me baby I am grown up now.”, Rija pouted.

“But for me, you are still Baby, Baby Rija now hurry up go to the Main Hall Master is waiting for you. Mr. Miller is here.”, Nanny Rose informed her.

“Grandma Dan is here.”, Rija said excitedly and ran towards the hall.

“You told me that Harry and Freya will be home today.”, Dan Miller asked Pablo Tyler Rija’s grandfather.

Rija’s grandmother Valda Brown, who was sitting beside Pablo Tyler explained, “They came back last night due to some work they both had to leave in the morning.”.

Dan Miller looked at Pablo Tyler and understood that what Valda just said was not true, but he did not make things difficult for them, and said calmly, “Well it’s understandable after all work is important.”.

Pablo sneered, “What work the reason they both are not here is that they can’t tolerate each other.”.

“What do you want to hide? The whole city knows that our good-for-nothing son and workaholic daughter-in-law hate each other and stay out of the country to avoid each other.”, Pablo shouted.

The whole atmosphere became a little uncomfortable. Valda did not dare to look at Dan Miller whereas Pablo Tyler was trying hard to calm himself.

Looking at the situation Dan Miller thought it’s best to leave, “Pablo I will leave now and will come another day to play chess with you.”.

“Why you are leaving? I am telling you can’t leave till we end our chess game. It’s been a month we are playing it. Today we must end it.”, Pablo said with a grumpy face.

“What’s the use we already know I am going to win.”, Dan Miller said in a provocative way.

“Ha don’t be so sure Mr. Miller. Let’s play and see who will win.”, Pablo laughed lightly.

“Hi, Grandma, Grandpa, Grandpa Dan.”, just when the two old men were busy fighting Rija came and greeted them in a sweet voice.

“Hi, Rija how are you.”, Dan Miller greeted her with a gentle smile.

“I’m good grandpa Dan. How are you?”, Rija asked him while hugging her grandma’s head.

“I’m good and ready to defeat your grandpa.”, Dan Miller said with a meaningful look.

"Ha ... in your dreams.", Pablo laughed with pride, then turned to Rija and said with dissatisfaction, "You finally had time to come.".

"Don't always try to find a chance to scold her. She stayed here last night and went to work after having breakfast at home.", Valda said with a grumpy face.

"I love you, grandma.", Rija said and kissed Valda's cheek.

“I love you too, sweetie. How was your day?”, Valda asked Rija after kissing her cheek.

“It was great, grandma. ”, Rija replied and then sat next to Dan Miller.

“Well, Rija you really impressed your seniors. Mr. Smith never praised anyone in front of me, not even his own daughter. He praises you whenever we meet and he is begging me to convince you to stay.”, Dan said with a gentle smile.

Valda and Pablo smile with pride. Pablo said with a smile, “My granddaughter is amazing in everything. It isn’t surprising that her seniors are impressed of her.”.

“That’s true I really envy you. Although I won in everything from you, you defeated me when it comes to grandchildren. I have seven grandchildren but none of them can be compared to Rija.”, Dan said with a gentle smile.

“Don’t say that Dan your eldest grandson is a genius. He is the youngest and strongest businessman in our country. No one dares to challenge him.”, Valda said with admiration.

“That brat only knows how to do business and how to mess around. He is nothing compared to our obedient and lively Rija, who knows how to take care of her grandparents. She lives with you laughs with and even plays chess with you. Whereas I have not seen any of my grandchildren after the Christmas dinner.”, Dan replied with a grumpy face.

This girl also isn't as good as you think I told her many times to come back and stay with us but she loves to stay alone, all by herself.
