Where is my mate?

“Ambrose.. Ambrose..” Granny shook my shoulder. “Are you okay? I haven’t seen you since evening. You didn’t come for dinner.” Granny asked me. I just got up and wiped my face with my palm. I was still in a deep sleep. I saw granny with my sleepy eyes.

“Hey.. What’s this..” Granny just touched my neck. She looked shocked. I too touched my neck and saw her surprised face

“What happened Granny?” I asked her with concern. I wonder what she has seen there.

“Your neck.. Why it looked sore. Did someone attacked you?” Grandma’s experienced eyes caught the attention. His grip was so tight that it left impression on my neck.

I got up and immediately looked myself in the mirror. His fingers were imprinted around my neck.

I took a cloth and wrap around my neck like a scarf. It didn’t hurt much but it could have seen with bare eyes that how tightly he has hold my neck that time.

“Just met some wild rogues.” I told her. Granny. I lied though I didn’t want to.

“please take care dear” she said, running her palm from by hairs and caressing my head.

I looked at her and nonded without uttering a word.

“Ambrose.. Why you behaved so changed. Nowdays you appear suspicious.” Granny told me. I pressed my lips. I wonder how people who loves you notices every little changes in you.

“Granny. Stop saying this. May be because I have no memory of the past.” I told her irritatingly. I just don’t want to share my real thoughts, she already overthinks about my problems I didn’t want her to get more reasons to worry about me.

“Do you know the meaning of Ambrose?” Granny asked me. I looked into her eyes. It were sparkling in the dark. I shook my head.

“What?”

“Ambrose means Immortal. A God like woman.” Granny caressed hair from My head. I felt guilty to get all love from her I didn’t even deserve. Sometimes I feel like tell her the truth. This life, This world does not belong to me. She was not my Granny either.

“Granny, You should sleep. It’s too late. Just sleep.” I pulled the blanket on her body and left the room as soon as she slept. I knew if she would awake, she will not let me come out at that hour. Bu I badly wanted to have some mind peace by going to my favourite place.

I arrived out of the packhouse. As soon as I get out, I reached the same pond side where I used to come. I picked a stone and threw it into the pond. That mysterious man, If he didn’t want to have that cake, he should have not hurt me. Just telling me would have work. I aggressively started throwing the stone in the pond. Suddenly I heard gigling from the corner. It came behind the tree. Whole scenario kept repeating before my eyes. There must be a big reason behind his such behaviour and his reaction toward birth day wish. And if there is no any other such reason that man would have to face my anger again then.

I just went and stood there. It was Alpha prince Duncun. I looked at the woman he was sitting with. She appeared so fair, and decent. Wearing pink coloured robe.

I couldn’t hear what exactly they were talking about. I went little closer to hear what they were talking but far enough so they can’t see me.

“Alpha Prince Duncun, you are so funny. You are making me laugh.” One calm and soothing voice was heard. I saw her hand kept on prince’s hand.

“My princess.. I want to make you laugh like this forever.” He told and rubbed her cheeks. I didn’t believe on my eyes for what I had seen for a while. I felt heart broke. I thought I found my Elon here but seeing him with to be Luna, I came to know that we were not meant to be together. This heart break might because of his face which was same as Elon. He loved his Luna so much. I felt bad because Elon never loved me this way. He was not my destinied partner.

“I thanked to moon godess that she chose such beautiful and kind partner for me. You are such a wonderful woman.” To be Alpha Duncun praised that woman. I smirked because he found his mate.

I looked at the moon and stared at it for a while. I had no wolf at all. There was no chance that I will find my mate here.

I wonder if moon godess have chosen partner for me of her choice, he would definitely meet me soon.

If Moon Godess brought me here, if she made my rebirth here. She would have chosen a mate for me. She must have chose someone who will love me unconditionally. Who will not have anyone in his life except from me. Where is he? Where can I find him?

Damien POV

“Good evening.” I sat on the dinner table. The Alpha of North moon pack was having his dinner. He was My father’s best friend since ages. But since few months he started some suspicious activity which could be harmful to our pack. Plus his joining hands with Enemy pack made Alpha Finley sent me here as a guest, but I was an spy for Blue moon pack. So I had no reason to worry so much.

“Damien, Did you visit Alpha Finley today?” He asked me. “How is my friend?” He added.

“Hmm.. He is fine.” I replied.

“Dad, saw what I made.” His son came with a folded paper. His son was laughing for no reason. Alpha Finley told me once that his son was mad. He unfolded that paper and showed it to Alpha North. Alpha North excitingly watched that paper. But suddenly his face turned dull. Like his son must have drawn something he didn’t like.

“Dad.. tell me. How is it? How is her photo?” He asked Alpha North again. Alpha North didn’t seemed so happy. Actually I was fed up of their family drama.

“Good.” He took that paper and kept beside him.

“Why didn’t she come to the marriage. Is she not ready to marry me?” He asked Alpha North. He looked well, just like any alpha prince. He was only son of Alpha North. Just he act like kid and sometimes extreme stubborn. Even while eating, he was talking about his marriage as if he was desperate for it.

“She will marry you on 7th Lunar month.” Alpha North told him. His face brightened up and he instantly finished the food in his plate.

“You must be wondering why my son is acting weird.” He might have guessed my face. I shook my head but then I smiled bitterly. “His brain was not developed completely.” Alpha North told him. I was not much shocked because looking at his action, I understood his situation.

“Was he going to marry soon?” I puzzled. Who will be willing to marry a mad wolf.

“He fell in love with one omega, and wanted to marry her now.” He told me. My eyes widened, not even a single human would ready to marry him. Except for this fortune. I looked at their packhouse again. “But that woman didn’t appear for marriage.”

Alpha North told me. I was not interested in their story. He kept telling me about his childhood that already suck my mind. I didn’t finished my food and just got up from dining table. Though my stomach wasn’t full with food, but I wasn’t really interested in taking all those childhood family stories anymore.

“I will be leaving first.” I told him and greeted him again. While passing by closer to him, the paper beside him fell on the floor.

“Your paper.” I was stunned. That painting was no other but that woman from the packhouse. I blinked my eyes twice to confirm whether it was really what I was seeing or may be that girl has attacked my thoughts in such way that I am seeing her everywhere. But he really had drawn her face only.

I couldn’t believe it was her until I saw those blue eyes. The same peach cheeks and red tender lips, a bun on the head, long eyelashes that casting shadow in the bottom. Pointed nose and chin. She was wearing the same black thread in the neck. But no doubt she looked more beautiful in real rather than in this sketch.

I was shocked to see her being a same girl to whom this alpha north’s son was going to marry. I couldn’t believe it at all.

I kept staring at a picture for a while. “my son kept painting her face” alpha north took paper in my hand back to his hand and folded it while keeping it on table.

“is she the same girl you were talking about”, I wondered what exactly had happened. I don’t why I was shocked and curious with this fact that girl was actually about to marry someone.

“yes, she is the reason why my son is like this today “ I could clearly see the pain in his eyes towards his son’s condition. But I don’t why somewhere I felt good that she didn’t marry him. But I really wanted to know everything that has happened.

“Why didn’t she appeared for the wedding?” I asked Alpha North. I didn’t know why but my curiosity raised when I saw her potrait.

“Luna Valda didn’t tell us reason. She just said something urgent came up. But some people from Blue Moon Packhouse told that she tried to jump in the ocean.” Alpha North stood and left in his room. I don’t know the real reason but my son lost, and I couldn’t help.
