Hannah Having Austin’s mother around was a strange feeling. It made me miss my mother terribly. Seeing her interact with Dylan, the laughter, the giggles, tickling, playing games and just getting to know each other was something I always wanted for him, always craved for him to have that relationship. I thought he would never have one because both my parents passed away. Having her around gave me a sense of home. As soon as she walked through the door a couple of hours ago, the very first thing she did was run and hug me. I was taken off guard, not expecting that. With how tense things had been between Austin and his father, I thought the worse for her. “Thank you.” She whispered into my ear, hugging me tighter. I slowly took my arms around her and gave her a hug back as well. I needed
