When life hits you hard, it takes the wind right out of you. You can’t breathe, you can’t think, you can’t move. You literally become numb to the events around you. You take no mind what your mind and heart are telling you, because when you hear the one thing that can potentially shatter your world, your ears tell your mind and heart that what they are hearing is right.
