Lucien
I could tell that my daughter really liked Jackie but seeing her shock over us kissing made me wonder if she didn't like the idea. I had a moment of panic before a smile broke out on Cami's face and she made a squeal and ran towards us. I hefted her up and turned away from Jackie, not wanting to see the look on her face.
I didn't know if she was okay with her knowing, and I didn't want to start to hope or some kind of s**t about her actually being open with us trying something. I didn't want to see her worried or trying to pass off what we did, so I decided to talk over Cami's questions saying that we were headed to the car and that we were going to the school now.
I heard her behind me and I got my shoes on before grabbing Cami's boots and setting her down in the garage to put the shoes on as I got the door open and went back for the backpack and I made sure that the homework that was due today was inside before walking back to the car to see Cami climbing in with Jackie watching her, almost lunging when she missed a step.
Once Cami was in, she shut the door and went to open hers and I moved around, opening the back door and tossing her bag and she smiled wide at me. I got in and started the car before turning up her music so we couldn't really talk if we wanted to.
I tuned out the loud music the entire drive. Once we pulled up, we had to wait a bit for the drop off point since so many parents liked to drop their kids off so early. I usually did it closer to the bell, but today seemed just right to drop Cami off early.
She had already taken off her seatbelt off and hopped down from her chair and moved to the console before giving my cheek a kiss. "You need to shave daddy." She told me and I gave her a look and she just giggled. "Bye!" She moved to push open her door and jumped out before pushing her door closed and waving to Jackie before running into the gate. I waited until she was in before moving on.
"We shouldn't have kissed when she could see us." Jackie had reached over to turn off the music and I saw her shift towards me.
"She has never seen me with a woman. Not even a one-night stand. That is what I've kept her from." I told her and she just gulped and turned away. "I need to know before she sees anything else if you want to date, or just have fun because my daughter can't get attached-"
"I thought you were already trying to date me." She spoke up, sitting up and fixing her shirt before shaking her head and turning towards the window.
"Jackie-"
"Never mind. Guess I just read it wrong." She shook her head. "Are we still going to check on my shop?" She asked and I just nodded and decided that I would have to wait to have this conversation face to face and out of the car so I can make sure that she has no misunderstanding.
I made the quick drive to her little café and as I parked right out front, she pushed open the car door and made her way towards the front to unlock it. I looked around for any sign of the bastard waiting for us.
I walked in and watched her head right into the back and she was back there for a while, so I decided to make sure she was okay. I pushed open the door and saw her on the computer making a list of something. I walked closer and noticed she was making an order list.
"We will talk about what we are going to do." I told her and she looked over her shoulder at me before back to the screen. "I want you to get to know me and know my daughter. I would have never offered to have you in the same house if I didn't want to have a serious relationship with you." I told her and leaned to the side to see her face since she was refusing to look at me.
"Then why did you offer to just have fun." She asked peeking over at me and I just smirked.
"Because you seemed to freak out. I was giving you an out. I know what my life is babe, I am a single father, my house is always a mess, my daughter is my only family. I am a biker-"
"So? What part of that whole thing is a bad thing?" She asked, finally turning to look at me, her hand moving to her hip and her eyebrow arched high.
"The single dad part with a messy house." I told her and she smiled lightly and laughed after a moment. "What? Now you're laughing at me."
"You realize that I grew up with a single father who was nothing like you? You are loving and the whole 'messy' house means that you spoil your daughter. That is what a good father does. At least with the single father role I don't have to take you from your wife." She teased and I smirked at the thought of her taking on my ex.
"Yes well...no wife, no old lady, no baby mama." I told her and she gulped and nodded. "Unless you want to fill one of those-"
"Jackie!" I pulled the gun from in my back and c****d it, but she shook her head and touched my hand and smiled slightly.
"You said you were coming in the afternoon!" She called back and gave me a quick look and I put the gun back into my jeans just as who I could only guess was her brother pushed open the back door.
"We got put on a fast plane. This is who is helping you?" He moved to size me up and I just worked my eyes and met his glare for every second he stared at me.
"Avery... this is Lucien." She stepped in front of me, crossing one arm and waving her other hand between the two of us. I held my hand out as a sign of respect and he gripped it tight only to be punched as he started to squeeze my hand with a small snarl on his lips. "Cut it out." She ordered and he let go of my hand and held both of his up. "Where is dad?"
"Out here!" I heard a commanding voice and I felt Jackie tense up just a bit in front of me and I started to scowl now.
"Let's go." Avery sighed and nodded his head for us to follow. I walked out behind her and while Avery was in regular clothes, her father was in formal wear. Deep blue jacket with lots of little medals on his left side. Hat under his arm and even his boots were shiny.
Jackie
"Father, this is Lucien. He was here when the man, who said you ruined his life, came in here with a gun pointed at me." I looked at the man who passed down his blue eyes and light hair color to me, but none of his love.
"Is he a cop who helped?" He looked over Lucien and I could tell her was just asking to create some kind of reason to bring him down.
"No. The cops didn't help much at all. At least Lucien took the man down and went in to talk to a sketch artist." I challenged him and the flare behind his eyes told me he wasn't happy that I was already seeing where he was going with his insinuation.
"So, where do I look at these sketches?" He asked me and I just clenched my jaw.
"I am sure you can find your way to the police station closest to this establishment." I told him and turned back to look at Lucien. "You had to get to work right?" I asked him and for just a second, he seemed worried before nodding at me.
"Don't let us keep you waiting from the corner you sell your drugs." I took a single breath before looking at my father and laughing lightly.
"How soon can you get back to your sandbox and order little boys to shoot young kids?" I snapped back and shook my head as I moved around him and then to the door. "You know what... go to the police, then go away, you're good at that." I gave him an order and looked to Avery. "You can feel free to tell me where you want to have dinner, I will meet you there." I told him and he nodded once, and I looked to Lucien who was watching me. "Come on."
He sent me a small smile before walking with me to the door and then to his car. "I'll just drive around the block so you can go back and lock up." He told me as he started his jeep and my father and brother got out of my shop slowly as he pulled away.
"I can't stand that man. The fact that I even need his help makes me want to pull my own hair out." I ground my teeth and shook my head as he went around the block. I got out quick and locked up and when I got back to the car Lucien didn't take off right away and instead leaned over and grabbed hold of my hand and brought it to his mouth.
"Tonight, there is a patch in party. If I finally promise to host a slumber party next week... Cami will be out for the night and until noon tomorrow. Do you want to see how a man like me has fun?" He asked and I felt my old wild side come out. I used to party hard in college. One of the main reasons I was so blunt now with my father. I felt like I could be.
"Sure... I guess that means I need to help with the slumber party." I said and he laughed.
"Right. I have never hosted one... but I will get in touch with the mom group and tell them that I finally let Cami meet my woman and that we are able to have a slumber party next weekend." He finally pulled into the driveway and I bit my lip and undid my seatbelt slowly.
"You know... thinking of you texting a bunch of moms isn't really a turn on... or doesn't make me trust you a 100 percent." I teased and he scowled immediately, and I just raised an eyebrow.
"Something you should know about me babe; I don't like snooty bitches like my daughter’s friends’ moms. They all think they are better than me. They even tried to tell me that my daughter shouldn't be allowed at the slumber parties because I will go right back to my illegal acts and won’t be able to pick her up the next morning." He told me and I worked my jaw. What was it with people being so judgmental? He was a biker... doesn't mean he does illegal things.
"Like some guy who mimics his daughter could do anything too horrible." I rolled my eyes and he shook his head.
"You know what woman... I can't wait to see how you handle tonight." He told me and I just smiled as we continued right to the house. He got out to the other side of the car and I hopped down quickly before walking beside him and up through the garage just like yesterday.
I got inside and he pulled out his phone right away. He typed for what felt like five minutes before he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Looks like most of the moms want next weekend off. So... we have a week to plan an entire evening for some girls."
"Well it's not that hard. All we have to do is get some snacks, enough clean blankets, and some girly movies." I told him before seeing him wince. "What? Then we can get pizza for dinner, maybe do a hair braid chain..." I shrugged and he laughed lightly.
"How many sleep overs have you been to?" He asked and I took a deep breath.
"I lived on base, a lot... and whenever my dad had to work over night, I would go to a neighbor’s house... and that is kind of what we did. We were the only family with no mom so all the other moms would try and pitch in... I got my first makeup lesson from a friend’s mom." I told him and thought back to sneaking lip gloss and she didn't get mad. I remember only taking it because I had my first crush.
"So, a lot?" He asked and I nodded quickly and smiled.
"I know exactly what to do with them if you want them to go to sleep early." I told him and I watched his face move from passive to interested. "There is a nice place... adults and kids can go. A giant trampoline rooms." I told him since I couldn't remember the place, I had gone on a date a couple months ago. The date was okay, but the s*x after was horrible because he couldn't keep up with his sore legs. Just thinking about it made me giggle.
"What?" Lucien asked and I gulped and licked my lips.
"I went there on a date. It was fun... but the s*x was lousy." I told him and I saw a bit of a twitch in his eyebrow before he laughed. He moved in on me, closing me into a wall and I just gulped as he put one hand near my side, and the other tipped my chin up.
"I will not-" He sighed as his phone started to ring and he pulled back slightly, pulling it out before hitting the answer button. "This better be an amazing mind-blowing call." He leaned in, his lips coming close to mine and I just waited. "What?" He asked pulling back and focusing on the phone call. "No, I didn't take the keys home. They were left in the office. Put them where I always put them." He rolled his eyes and I just laughed before getting into his space and leaning in close. His eye focused back on me and I bit my lip before leaning up and kissing his neck to his cheek before pulling away. "I don't know, find them!" He hung up before he moved closer and pinned me back to the wall.
"Got to go to work?" I asked and he nodded and took a very deep breath. "I can get some things ready for a hot meal tonight... incase my brother can't make it for dinner." I told him and he gulped and worked his jaw.
"Invite your brother here. We can all have dinner here." He offered and I smiled.
"Or... I can have dinner with him some other night." I told him and he shook his head.
"Offer him a meal here... if you need anything extra for the dinner you want to cook call me or text me. I might get someone to come and drop it off or take you in the jeep." He told me and I just sighed and shrugged.
"I am sure I can get something good put together with what we got at the store." I told him and he nodded slowly before moving in against me. His hips lined up with me, his chest pushed against mine, and then I licked my lips slowly.
He moved in quick, pushing his lips against mine. Not forceful but not letting me have control. I felt his tongue on my lips, and opened slowly, and that was when he got aggressive. His leg pushed thought mine, his knee rubbing against my leggings and perfectly against my clit. I took a deep breath and worked my hips before his phone started to ring again.
"What?" He pulled back quick and answered. "Fine. I am on my way." I gulped and licked my lower lip again before watching him put his phone back in his back pocket. "Call me if you need anything." He pulled his jeep keys from his belt loop and dangled them in front of me.
"Have a good day at work." I told him and he shook his head before leaning in and grazing his lips with mine.
"I might be home early." He took a moment and adjusted his c**k in front of me before sighing and looking down at me. "Be good." He told me and I rolled my eyes.
"I will also put a bag together for Cami." I told him and he smiled wide. I licked my lips again and tasted him and walked out of the inside of the house to the garage and he put one leg over his bike. I walked closer before he put his helmet on and took the chance to kiss him back, I took charge and ran my hands through his hair before skating one hand down his spine before pulling back.
"Jesus woman... you're going to give me the biggest set of blue balls I ever had." He grabbed my waist and pulled me back down over his lap and the bike and laid another kiss on me.
"Well maybe tonight.... or tomorrow while Cami is still at the sleepover would be a good time to rectify that." I winked and pushed off him to stand up and I walked away slowly, only for him to smack my ass and I shook my head and kept walking.
He took off quick, the gate and the door to the garage closed. I bit my lip and walked back into the house, moving closer to the kitchen. I took out the beef flank we got yesterday and let it thaw out before going upstairs to get things put together for Cami.
I took out a couple pairs of underwear I washed yesterday, a pair of socks, and I a nice dress into the small duffle bag I found in her closest. I picked out clean PJs, and her hairbrush before picking out sandals.
I was sure that would be all she needed for the night and the next morning. I put it downstairs and made a mental note to make sure she had any stuffed animals or toys she needed to sleep.
I got back to cleaning the house, just dusting the vents and I got to the DVDs again and started where I left off.
Before too long I was done cleaning, and I ran a vacuum and mopped the kitchen floor. I ran a toilet brush around all the toilets and moved to clean up the showers, and before moving on to the floors, I started a stew.
I felt like a housewife, I could not wait to go back to my little café and simply bake all day.
