POV: Riley
The first few days with the newborns were a whirlwind of emotions and sleepless nights. Riley found herself constantly amazed by the tiny, perfect features of her daughter, feeling a love deeper than she had ever known. She watched as Alex cradled her son, both of them sharing the quiet moments that came with midnight feedings and early morning diaper changes.
It was during one of these late-night sessions that Riley found herself alone in the nursery with Mason. He was holding their daughter, softly singing a lullaby that his mother used to sing to him.
Riley watched them, her heart swelling with love. "You're a natural," she said softly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful moment.
Mason looked up and smiled. "So are you, Riley. You're already an amazing mother."
